My aging pup has anxiety when I’m not home and Dakota has hand-fed her multiple times to get her to eat when I’m away. He is an energetic dog that needs plenty of attention and structure. Julia perfectly marries strictness with playfulness. On walks she follows my regimen and makes sure that Bear is not eating or smelling anything he shouldn't. She has experience walking Bear on a collar, gentle leader, and harness and knows how to properly put them on and make sure he is secure. She is one of the two people I trust to take care of Bear when I am gone for a short or long period of time. About: My family has never been able to turn away a dog in need. It's HARD to give them all the attention they deserve. My flexible schedule allows me to help others with their pet needs. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so my availability will be wide open except on days I'm fully committed to other projects. It's amazing! I am happy to follow instructions to maintain your pets training and expectations. My home comes with a quarter acre fenced in yard and an elderly pet friend (Ash the Aussie) who is only interested in treats and sleeps.

About: I have worked as a vet assistant for 3 years, and currently I am working towards a grooming career. I also foster puppies and kittens through Auburn Humane Society. I work a part-time schedule as a groomer at the moment. This allows for a fairly open schedule for my clients even during the week. I keep my books open to almost same day bookings incase of ‘emergent’ needs of my clients. If you have an unexpected event or need pet sitting in a pinch please don’t hesitate to contact me. I treat pet sitting/walking like baby sitting. Keeping pets engaged and happy is what is needed when their parents are away. Whether that means fetch outside, walks or cuddling on the couch, depending on your pets needs I will accommodate.

About: Life-long pet owners with a spacious home and fenced-in yard in the South Tacoma area. The sleeping and kennel area is indoors and the temperature is controlled, and is separated from the rest of the living area of the home. There is plenty of space in the yard to accommodate your pet's need to run and play. The yard is fenced in and entrances secured for your pet's safety. You get one or two dedicated adults in the home full time, and your pet will receive plenty of attention and care. We have a senior Chihuahua, a senior American Shorthair cat, and an Amazon Parrot in the home. We love our animals and we want to provide that love and care to your animals as well. There's always someone at home and we already care of our own pets. We are therefore available nearly any time. Our home schedule allows for us to accept daily stays, overnight stays and even long term boarding. We have a safe, fenced in yard with plenty of space to run and grass to play in. Water, food, shade and shelter is always available.

About: I volunteered at an animal shelter for 4 years and am the reliable one to friends and neighbors to care for their pets. When a friend couldn’t fly with their Doberman due to the heat wave I watched him for 3 weeks. Another friend of mine flys from Alaska for me to watch their dog while vacationing/training. I am working, but pretty open and flexible. Just let me know what you are looking for and we can discuss a schedule that works. My 1 acre backyard is fully fenced. My home is pet loving, they are allowed on furnature and there are usually toys thrown about. I am respectful of your space if coming to your home. Willing to wear a mask or take shoes off.
