He is an energetic dog that needs plenty of attention and structure. Julia perfectly marries strictness with playfulness. She is extremely attentive towards him and makes sure he is not being naughty while also being so caring. On walks she follows my regimen and makes sure that Bear is not eating or smelling anything he shouldn't. She has experience walking Bear on a collar, gentle leader, and harness and knows how to properly put them on and make sure he is secure. She is one of the two people I trust to take care of Bear when I am gone for a short or long period of time. She is the sweetest, most genuine girl I have ever met and any pet will have a wonderful, but safe, time with her. A+ Julia!”

He had never been out of his kennel and had very little human interaction. She turned him into a sweet, civilized, well behaved dog. About: I grew up with animals but really started taking care of pets when I bought a house with a backyard. My family and I volunteer and foster animals through the Humane Society and have cared for all types. Some of those pets have needed bottle feeding, injections, oral medication, as well as medicated baths. I have taken all of the certifications for Fear Free Shelters and am excited to further my training. I work from home and am available for your pet any day and time. I have weekends free as well for your sweet pup(s). Do you need daily sitting? Overnight and/or vacation boarding? How about daily walks? Your pet is welcome to join my crew anytime. I have a fenced yard for dogs to explore with my two friendly pups or on their own if they prefer. Does your pup need a dry area? I have a fenced off patio for dogs with injuries or fancy hairdos needing to be kept dry, rainy days, or escape artists who love to dig under fences like the Pokie Little Puppy. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. I have experience with fearful dogs, injured, quiet, loud, etc. Dogs are allowed to nap on furniture or in a crate with comfy blankets, whichever they prefer. I have a puppy playpen if your dog is small and needs their own space but still wants to be a part of the action.

“Tanja has dog-sat for me for almost 5 years and every time I bring my pups to her, they greet her with a wagging tail and a sloppy kiss. This tells me that they enjoy their time with her. She loves on them with praises, treats, belly rubs, and a variety of games. I have met her previous dogs and can see that she was trained to raise her own shepherds to be social and obedient. While she is not a dog whisperer, she does understands basic dog body language and communication and I think this is important in keeping the dogs and herself safe and happy. Tanja in general is reliable, pays attention to detail, and is respectful of people’s space and time. I have hired her for a variety of other services for our home and will continue to hire her in the future.”
