“I could not have been more pleased with the care my fur baby, Toby, received from Tobi. First, we had a meet and greet where Toby was introduced to the resident dogs. They were as welcoming as Tobi and her husband! On the day I dropped Toby off for his stay, he went right in without any nervousness, not even looking back at me. Tobi sent me updates with photos almost daily, and I could see Toby was blending right into the family (he slept on the bed with everyone at night.) “Highly recommend Carrie if you need a cat sitter! Carrie did check-ins for my senior cat while we were away for 7 days during Thanksgiving week. I was a bit nervous, as I've never had to leave my cat alone for that long before. The meet-and-greet with Carrie alleviated all my worries! She was wonderful with our cat, and gave him so much love, attention, and play time while we were away. Her update reports were always detailed and lovely to read, and she sent tons of great photos with each report. Everything was clean when we returned home (cat box empty/clean, litter swept off the floor). About: My 18 year old Cairn Terrier has just left for doggie heaven. My home is lonely without him. He was my fourth dog, so I have a lot of experience caring for a furry friend. My rate is low because having to find care for my dog was a major issue when I traveled. It is worth mentioning that I will watch only ONE dog at a time. It must also be a SMALL dog based on the Rover size chart. I am retired, but love to travel. I think it would be unfair to adopt another dog while I am still intending to spend time away from home. It has been a long time since I have been without a dog in my life. I thought taking care of yours would be a good way to have a furry companion when I am home. This is another reason for my low rate. I have a big fenced yard and a lot of left over stuff from my dog to provide a warm welcoming environment for my client's pet.

My middle-aged Lab is usually somewhat mellow and indifferent, but when he arrived for his second visit at Jennifer's house, he was super bouncy and excited! Jennifer has a big fenced yard and she has transformed her house for ultimate dog-friendly comfort. She sent pictures and updates throughout his visit, and even printed a beautiful photo of him for me to take home. Jennifer is very responsive, quickly responding to my inquiries about scheduling and and answering questions. I've raised multiple Doberman Pinschers over the years starting at the tender age of 7 weeks and currently have one of my own, so I'm used to stubborn, energetic and messy dogs. About: I have owned or cared for dogs my entire life, with the occasional rodent or scaled creature thrown in. Hopefully not at the same time. I’m comfortable with basic wound cleaning as well as administering medication. After a period working in a pet store I’m also more skilled in ear cleaning, breathing treatments, and temperature taking than I’d care to be. Work situation changed so I’m more open to daytime walks and drop ins. I also keep a weird sleep schedule so if you need a late night drop in or walk, hit me up. Update: I did recently get a dog. He’s a young doodle and prefers to chew on my hair and hands more than toys, but gets along well with other dogs. He sure everyone wants to be his friend. He is young, potty trained and a great playmate. So right now the only way I’m able to sit is if your dog would like new bestie. I am unable to care for pets in my home. I live with my niece and her cat can be a little…stabby, for lack of a better word. In your home, I’ll be following your lead. I do tend to go outside with dogs at night, even with fenced yards. I am always wary of bobcats and coyotes looking for water and snacks. I’m also perfectly comfortable with a pile of animals sleeping in bed with me so if that’s what your animals prefer, I’m here for it.

About: I have always had animals in my life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, mice, hedgehogs, fish, and guinea pigs. I have also pet sat for other people and understand how important it is to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I currently have two dogs of my own, Dochi and Madrona, who are both Chihuahua and Shih Tzu mixes. Dochi is 1 year old and Madrona is 2 years old. I am able to provide care during the weekend and can work with pet owners to find a schedule that works well for both of us. I offer dog walking, potty breaks, daycare, and overnight pet sitting at my home. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they can feel comfortable while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I know how much pets mean to their families because my own dogs are a huge part of my life. I will treat your pets with the same care, patience, and attention that I give my own. I have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely get fresh air, play, and enjoy some outdoor time. I also have a dog crate and a dog fence enclosure available, so I can provide a safe, secure space when a pet needs some quiet time or extra supervision. I have two dogs of my own, Dochi and Madrona, who are both Chihuahua and Shih Tzu mixes. They are friendly and used to being around other animals. I understand that every dog is different, though, so I will always take introductions slowly and pay attention to each pet’s comfort level. I have experience with dogs of different ages and breeds and will follow your pet’s routine, instructions, and individual needs. My goal is to provide a clean, safe, calm, and loving environment where your pet can feel comfortable while you’re away. I will always treat your pets like family and make sure they receive the patience, attention, and care they deserve.
