I'm a retired nurse and at the present time we do not have a four legged family member. In January 2021 I started on Rover. The dogs I care for and their families are very important to me. As a retired family we have become picky with who we choose and when we are available. I have been fortunate to have met so many wonderful people and seen the love they have for their dogs. I treat every dog as if they are my own because how can anyone not love a dog ? If you reach out to me and I’m not available I hope you find the right fit for your family because every dog deserves the best.

I have a half acre fenced yard giving your dog the room to run and wear themselves out so when you get home you have a few minutes to relax.

Information Chuck S. would like to know about your pet
If you have a young puppy I would like them to have their shots. I do not have dogs from different families here at the same time. I don’t take on any new families without a meet and greet
A typical day
Having a large yard allows your dog the opportunity to sniff, chase birds or play ball whenever they want. I like to take the dogs for a car ride to titlow park, point defiance park or chambers bay for fun walks.

Pet care experience
After a lifetime with dogs and usually more than one at a time our 17 year old Jack Russell and our 17 year old yorkie passed away within months of each other. When we had the four Russell’s that herd would walk the local golf course, hiked the mountains and traveled with us. Today families are busier and sometimes your four legged family members could use an extra walk or playtime. This is where I can walk your dog while I receive extra steps and comfort as we walk your local neighborhood. We have a nice half acre yard that has hedges over the chain link fence to keep the dogs in while not letting passerby’s see the dogs. I’m a retired registered nurse that misses the joy dogs bring to life but not ready to replace our Jack Russell’s or yorkie after the 17 years they gave us. I have been with Rover since January 2021 and have meet so many wonderful families. I hope you find the perfect walker or sitter for your dogs.
Reviews

Always attentive to the special needs of all 3 dogs. The dogs love that Chuck not only walks them but also plays ball, keep away and gives plenty of pets and belly rubs!!

Chuck and Mary are amazing! They take such good care of my 3 dogs when I have to be out of town. Very reliable with feeding, meds, walks and outside adventures! They get so spoiled at their house!

Very diligent in care of our 3 dogs and works with their individual quirks. We have one very anxious dog that he clocks miles with, a social butterfly and one senile senior barker.

Chuck loves dogs and is a good communicator. There is not a better yard for exploration and fun than Chucks yard- it’s a park! Plus he loves to take your dog on a walk. Chuck has cared for our senior Maltese several times before he passed after a stroke. I strongly recommend him.
