Although typically we will not board at our home, on occasion we’ll make exceptions depending on the breed and temperament. We have two Shih Tzu’s that are extremely playful and nice with other pets. In your home, I will take care of your pets as you would.

About: I have always had animals in my life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, mice, hedgehogs, fish, and guinea pigs. I currently have two dogs of my own, Dochi and Madrona, who are both Chihuahua and Shih Tzu mixes. Dochi is 1 year old and Madrona is 2 years old. I am able to provide care during the weekend and can work with pet owners to find a schedule that works well for both of us. I offer dog walking, potty breaks, daycare, and overnight pet sitting at my home. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they can feel comfortable while you’re away. Spanky is a shy boy and will not usually walk out of the house with a stranger, unless he is on leash. He liked Lelia enough to for a walk without being coaxed outside on his leash! About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.

About: Hi! I grew up locally on Fox Island with my family. We’ve always had 1-2 dogs at a time from puppy to elder. I’ve always taken on the responsibility that comes with dogs from a young age to now - feeding, play time, walks, cleaning and overall care. I have been active on Rover for the last four years and currently operate my own LLC. I reside in a quiet neighborhood at a dead end street with my six year old son - who is also great with dogs! My house includes a large fully fenced backyard - plenty of room for running, ball tossing and lounging. I have a flexible remote schedule which allows for ample potty breaks, outdoor time as well as extra care and attention! I am home with dogs for a majority of the time and generally do not leave them unattended for more than an hour for school drop-off, pickup, and local errand running. I use interior cameras and local pet sitters to accommodate dog schedules and monitoring if needed as well. I host multiple client’s pets at a time and am only taking on dogs that are friendly and get a long with other dogs. I do not currently have any pets of my own and have added interior cameras to monitor dogs if I’m away. I work with two local sitters as well to accommodate additional outdoor time, play time and potty breaks.

While I do not have any animals living with me now, as I am early in my career with a seasonal environmental job, I would love to spend some time with a dog or cat and help out when needed! Having had two anxious bigger dogs growing up, I am very familiar with meeting the needs and navigating spaces with animals of different capacities in mind. I am around for any overnight needs and would love to support with good care when needed or with walks outside! I am working in a part-time position and have a roughly shifting schedule every week. I have the most availability on weekends (sat-sun) for walks, care, or overnight boarding! For the weekdays, I will have a good idea of what I will be staffing that week by the Thursday before and would keep you in the loop of when I could come by/care for your animal! I value giving notice and being a reliable addition to your life for good stable care for your animals! I live right next to Wright park and love a good walk! I believe in using this time in this service to enrich your pet’s life and am looking forward to getting to know them and engage with them! My apartment is ready for pets (as I have planned to adopt or foster dogs/cats but am holding off while I am in my current position). I’m naturally affectionate with friendly, social dogs, but I’m equally comfortable giving shy or timid dogs the space and time they need to feel safe. I’m comfortable with strong pullers, long walks, high-energy play, feeding, basic routines, and keeping dogs safely supervised. I understand that every dog has their own personality and boundaries, so I always follow the owner’s instructions and take time to learn each dog’s routine and preferences. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to provide plenty of exercise for dogs who need it! I’m usually available 7 days a week. Same-day bookings are welcome! Please send your request at least 6 hours before your preferred start time. My schedule is flexible, so feel free to reach out if you have any special timing needs. Your dog’s safety is always my priority. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including preferred walking routes, leash and harness routines, interactions with other dogs, and any behaviors or triggers I should watch for. I keep dogs leashed throughout walks unless specifically instructed otherwise in a safe and appropriate area. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos during or after each walk.
