“James took care of our two cats for a week. This was our first time leaving them alone this long. I've used Rover many times in the past, and I just need to say that this experience was the best yet! I am a Rover sitter myself (similar # of reviews and 5 stars), and I would even choose him over myself. He spent genuine time at our house through the week and kept us in the loop. For me, this is the expectation. Our cats are easily stressed and extremely needy, so when we normally arrive home, they are starving for attention. Not this time though. When we arrived home after being gone for 7 days, our boys were so relaxed, healthy, and happy. Even there coats were cleaner and healthier than before. Our house was vacuumed, dusted, bedding and living room blankets washed, trash/recycling was taken out. I'm a bit OCD and left our home extremely clean, but when we arrived home, it was even cleaner. If you are ever in need of a pet sitter, James is the best option. When you arrive home, you will understand exactly what I mean. He has my highest recommendation.”

About: Hi! My name is Taylor, and I’m a passionate animal lover with 5 years of hands-on pet care experience. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I currently have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 5 chickens of my own! My experience goes far beyond caring for my own pets. I’ve worked at two dog daycares and as a groomer, where I gained experience caring for dogs with a wide variety of personalities, energy levels, and needs. About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little kid. While I was in the Marine Corps I watched my superiors dogs and cat when they were away on leave. I have had dogs my whole life and I currently have two right now. They are both a year old and fully potty trained. I love taking my dogs outdoors to explore and I would do the same with yours. I am currently going to college but I only go twice a week so I have plenty of time for your pups and cats. I only go to school for about 2 hours a week, other than that k spend my time with my dogs and exploring outdoors. I live in a Apartment so I cannot watch dogs in my own home, but I can do drop-ins in your home, take your dogs one walks and little adventures if you allow. Definitely some pup cups every now and then!

I was leaving Moon for longest stretch ever and Samatha was so patient and understanding of my constant text messages both before and during the 4 days she cat-sat. Hedda is often shy and hides from cat sitters, but she was ready to greet Samantha each time she came. Samantha was so conscientious with our cats. She stayed much longer than expected to play with Moon, made good decisions when she couldn't reach me one time, and managed to keep him from getting outside (not easy!). About: I’ve never understood why chihuahuas loved me so much until I realized how much people don’t respect the boundaries of such small creatures. So much so, they feel the need to be aggressive and defend themselves! I know a good amount about dogs and dogs breeds, how different breeds have different needs and will strive to meet the needs of your fur-baby! I am a full-time Master’s student, but my classes are on weekends only. I have many things to read so overnights would likely be spent playing with your fur-baby before I get some reading done for my degree. To make sure you and your fur-baby feel safe with me in your home, I will make sure to talk through routines you may have with your pet(s). I know how hard it is to be away from your pet, so I will make sure to send photos and videos as requested. I want to make sure I know how to properly care for your pets, so I may have a couple extra questions to figure out how I may support you and your pet.
