About: I’m a retired professional who enjoys staying active while providing dependable, compassionate care for pets. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for when you’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, overnight stays, administering routine medications, or simply providing companionship, I tailor my care to each pet’s and owner’s unique needs and routine. I also believe communication is essential, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and prompt responses throughout your pet’s stay. Pet sitting isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. Building trust with both pets and their owners is the most rewarding part of the experience. My schedule is flexible; especially with advance notice. Whether it’s walks and potty breaks or overnight sitting I can usually accommodate any schedule, including the holidays. Although typically we will not board at our home, on occasion we’ll make exceptions depending on the breed and temperament. We have two Shih Tzu’s that are extremely playful and nice with other pets. In your home, I will take care of your pets as you would.

About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.

Our Maltese, Marley, doesn’t do well with other dogs, so boarding would have been extra stressful. We really appreciated being able to schedule three drop-in visits per day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Pets in my care get regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of supervision. I make sure they’re not left alone for long periods and can adjust my routine to fit your pet’s needs. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where pets are always supervised. About: I grew up with two wonderful dogs, Ranger and Lucy, and I helped to train them as I got older. I worked at a great doggie daycare for an about a year in 2023-24 and I learned lots of awesome techniques and information about dogs' body language, needs, and other things. I am also equipped to handle medications, whether it be pills, ear/eye drops, or injections. I enjoy being around and training dogs very much, I'd say they're one of the things I am most passionate about! I think that staying with dogs, either overnight or just for the day sounds like a dream! I attend Seattle University during the year (mid September-mid June) but I’m currently home for the summer and I’d love to make a little extra money taking care of your best friend. I work in the evenings Monday-Friday from about 3-7pm. I’m available anytime of day during the weekends and any time other than my specified work hours on weekdays. I mentioned this in my description but I very much enjoy training dogs (although I’m not the most experienced or effective), cuddling or playing with them, whichever they prefer, and am capable of providing medications of multiple kinds to your pets. I can provide potty breaks both during the day and night if needed. I can sleep on a couch or in a bed, either with or without your pet. Personally, my dogs are crate-trained, so I understand not wanting them on couches or beds to sleep or just in general. Although, I would be absolutely overjoyed to have a sweet cuddle buddy to sleep with me. One last thing about safety, at my previous job, I was often alone in a room of up to 50 dogs and am well aware of techniques to break up a fight, although I doubt I will need to do this, I think it’s an important thing to know about the person taking care of your pet.

“Aurora is so kind and a friend to animals. She quickly responded to me and was available and attentive to my shih tzu, who looks super duper happy in the photos I received!! The photos were also of a variety I hadn’t seen before; usually I’ve received photos of Gizmo doing the same thing. Aurora took the time to take pictures of Gizmo walking, belly rubs, even a selfie. About: I've taken care of dogs ever since my aunt asked to housesit when I was 14, and I've been doing it since. I have cleaned, trained, gave medicine, and treated dogs for a while. I make sure that everything is do is good for both you and the dog, and if you need me to do the basics, I do the extra mile. Mostly I do whatever I can and need to make sure both you and your dog or animal is happy with my service. I'm currently working part time at a deli, but I always have time for my dog and helping my neighbors with their pets, I've been trained with lizards, bunnies, cats, and of course dogs, I have housesit for others every since I was 14 and I always make sure to go above and beyond. I have taken care of puppies, older dogs, dogs that are bigger then me, and dogs that have a record of biting others. I live to work and serve since I just love animals. We have a decent backyard for our golden retriever/yellow lab mix, he gets to run and go outside whenever he needs due to the doggy door I set up during the first couple months of having him when he was a puppy.
