Our normal routine is early morning sniff walkie (we call the shorty since we don’t get very far) then they nap the afternoon away and by 3pm we take our longer walk to stretch the muscles. 15-20 minutes of bully stick, lick mat, or mobility training (our senior gal is working on building muscle strength) in the late evenings and then they practice long self regulation relaxation on their own “place” while we work out in the gym. This is all in a perfect world! We try to teach them mental and emotional regulation so they can feel satisfied and we keep all our hair on our heads!

From my late large dog, Quiver, a Flat-coated Retriever, to a medium sized Australian Shepard, to a Miniature Schnauzer. I will dedicate 100% of my attention and time to making sure your dog is always happy and healthy! I have years of experience caring for senior dogs. When I heard about my dog’s disease prognosis, I began hand cooking him meals chock full of cancer-fighting vegetables and supplements in addition to his dry food. This included (as seen in my photos) sweet potatoes, red cabbage, broccoli, turmeric, fish oil, mushroom powder, etc. The vet had projected he would only live another 2 months, with my care and the change of his food, he lived and loved over 2 more years! So if your dog has a special diet, do not hesitate to let me know. I am currently a student who mainly works from home so I have plenty of time and a wide open schedule to care for your precious pets. My house is smoke free, pet safe and pet friendly. Erica is AMAZING! IT's been a total game changer in our cats. We can tell when we get home how stressed our absence has been on our cats. One used to run outside as soon a we got home and the other would turn her back to us, sometimes for hours, sometimes days before she would forgive us. We had to book last minute travel due to a family emergency, and Maria was able to accommodate us on short notice. Communication was great, and she was flexible with our needs and updates. Our Maltese, Marley, doesn’t do well with other dogs, so boarding would have been extra stressful. We really appreciated being able to schedule three drop-in visits per day. Ross was an absolute Godsend!! He took such good care of my kitties, and they warmed up to him rather quickly, even my shy girl Rosie. He kept in touch promptly and made sure to leave detailed notes after each visit. He was extremely accommodating as well, as maintenance had to change my locks while I was away and I also had a package delivered early... I informed him of all of this and he graciously changed my keys on my key ring and made sure my package made it inside safely. He went above and beyond the call of duty and I felt my kitties were in great hands. I would 100% book with him again!
I booked Amber to watch my kitties over the Christmas holiday. I came home to my kitties healthy, and thus grateful for their care. We did have some communication issues (her phone didn’t have service/not on and a missed drop in which I had to reach out to her first (hours later) to understand what was going on). I do want to say that she did remedy the issue in the end. My only critique is that I would have wanted her to find a way to communicate with me first when things arise that affect my pets feeding schedule so I could find an alternative solution, that way she could focus on any personal emergencies that pop up. Overall Amber is nice and friendly and I know with more pet-sitting experience she will be a well-sought after Rover sitter.
