I cannot take any dogs that are aggressive to young children or cats. My children are very used to and familiar with handling dogs, but I'm still cautious.
A typical day
We live in a wonderful neighborhood right next to lots of great walking trails and dog parks! If your dog needs to work on some manners, I can do that too! I love bringing out the best in the fur babies in my care.

Pet care experience
I am home most week days and have lots of experience with dogs and cats. I have volunteered as a foster for rescue dogs and train them so they can go to their forever homes with good manners. We take frequent walks and love to give lots of love and pets. I also am experienced with cats and love them too! I am available to cat sit in your home or check on your cats during the day. I am home most week days. You can trust me to care for your fur babies as if they were my own!

We got home to find our two gatos lounging about the house like they own it, as they do. There was no anxiety or other emotions. They were content. We want to thank Ashlyn for keeping their life on an even keel.
Ashlyn was wonderful caring for Ilsa (our long-hair dachshund) this past Labor Day weekend. Ilsa came home bathed, and clearly well taken care of. She stayed at Ashlyn’s home, and Ashlyn brought her home to us when we returned.
Ashlyn, her pup, and her kids were amazing with Monte! He absolutely loved it there, and I am completely comfortable entrusting her with his care. Monte is on the senior side and I was worried he might be too much of a handful, but transitioning his care to her felt so effortless. She sent regular updates and I knew she'd reach out if she needed anything. We have a few dogsitting options, and it's so reassuring to know we now also have Ashlyn on whom we can rely.
Ashlyn was very responsive and made herself available at the last minute to watch our dog and cat, plus a tortoise and 2 fish. In addition to caring for our sick dog, she also looked after our house, watered our plants and in general came to the rescue at the last minute for us.
