I have a passion for dogs and cats with over 40 years experience in caring for dogs. I am reliable, responsible and flexible for your pet care needs. I have an understanding of dog behavior and special needs. I am experienced in administering pet medications as well as puppy training. I am experienced in caring for older dogs with physical / medical needs. I have a basic knowledge of pet 1st aid. My goal is to earn your trust and provide you with peace of mind while I care for your beloved pets! I am retired and very flexible regarding scheduling for pet care assignments. I am available on short / emergency notice. I am available for long-term set schedules as well as short term. I am able to provide pet sitting, walks, welfare checks and administering pet medications. My residence has a large yard but is only partially fenced with shrubbery bordering the rest of the yard. I am located within easy walking distance to parks, forested trails and water-walkways along Gig Harbor. I am within 1/2 mile from a pet hospital. I have an older mini-Aussie who is accustomed to other dogs and cats but primarily keeps to herself.

Jerry was awesome and very communicative. Sending pics of my pup and providing updates throughout Vinny’s time with him. I had to book kind of last second and Jerry was very accommodating. Thanks again Jerry, will let you know if we need help when we’re back in town again.

A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs out on trails, parks, beaches, paddle boarding (if the dog is OK with water and riding on a board or kayak, dog flotation device provided). If the dog is social, I enjoy trips to the local dog park for unleashed playing.
