Safety, trust & environment
My approach to caring for all animals is based in the understanding that no two animals are the same! They each have their own very specific needs and requirements that they grow accustomed to in their daily lives. When their most loved humans trust me to take care of them, I strive to make it a safe, fun, comforting experience for them!
Information Christy D. would like to know about your pet
To serve your family member best, providing me with a quick run down of your animals daily routine will help him or her adjust to you being away! Any allergies, behavioral quirks or medical conditions are very important for me to know ahead of time too!
A typical day
Each dog has their own distinct personality, and their own version of what they consider fun and enjoyable! Gaining this knowledge for each pet guides the activities we will do together, as well as the places we get to spend time together! I understand that some kiddos love to be outside with lots of physical activity and stimuli, others are mellow and prefer to snuggle and just enjoy some love or a little treat!

Pet care experience
Growing up on a farm in beautiful Gig Harbor, WA, I was lucky enough to find my true passion for all animals at a very young age! I turned that passion into owning a small local doggie daycare and training facility. After 6 wonderful years of owning and operating the business I decided to sell it in order to spend more time with my husband and daughter who was young at that time. I continued to be involved with animals though, taking a position with a mobile veterinary service while tending to my own minifarm. Some of my greatest memories are with my animal friends-everyone from horses and chickens , to cats and pups, to snakes and chinchillas! I am trained in canine CPR, as well as animal first aid. I would be honored to meet and care for your special family member!

Simply put - Christy is family.

You always care for Piper like she’s family. I can tell that Piper is less anxious when I return from a trip when you’re caring for her! I really appreciate the care and attention you give to her. Thank you so much!
This is the first time leaving our babies with anyone other than a family member so we were quite stressed out. After meeting with Christy, I knew she was the one for us. The daily updates and pictures were a giant plus. She will be our only choice

Christy is amazing and has taken such great care of Ollie while I’ve been away. Highly recommend!
