About: I’ve never understood why chihuahuas loved me so much until I realized how much people don’t respect the boundaries of such small creatures. So much so, they feel the need to be aggressive and defend themselves! I know a good amount about dogs and dogs breeds, how different breeds have different needs and will strive to meet the needs of your fur-baby! I am a full-time Master’s student, but my classes are on weekends only. I have many things to read so overnights would likely be spent playing with your fur-baby before I get some reading done for my degree. To make sure you and your fur-baby feel safe with me in your home, I will make sure to talk through routines you may have with your pet(s). I know how hard it is to be away from your pet, so I will make sure to send photos and videos as requested. I want to make sure I know how to properly care for your pets, so I may have a couple extra questions to figure out how I may support you and your pet.
About: Hi! I am a stay-at-home mom of a human baby and two fur babies. I previously worked in upstate NY for a dog training company, My Dog Hikes, as a dog hiker where we took dogs from NYC into the woods for full day dog-care fun. Because of this I am comfortable giving medication and using training commands. I also have a Cattle Dog (Clayton) and Black Lab mix (Tarzan) of my own. I would love to take your little ones on the trails, play fetch in the yard, or just snuggle on the couch with lots of pets. I have a very open schedule so can work around any timeframe you need! As childcare is very expensive, please note before booking me that my son, Eli (3), will be joining me on my jobs. We can always meet beforehand to see if it's a good fit! Additionally - I do not accept requests for recurring weekly services and prefer them to be sporadic. As I am a stay-at-home mom your typical work week is when I am available. I can be flexible around your schedule! I can also stop by to spend some time with your pets on the weekend, so you can go enjoy a trip away. (: I do not care for dogs in my own home as my Lab does not like other dogs. In your home, however, I take care to follow all instructions closely! As a younging I'd spend my free time researching dog breeds for fun, and before I was old enough to work on Rover, I I hung up fliers advertising my own dog walking business. From my late large dog, Quiver, a Flat-coated Retriever, to a medium sized Australian Shepard, to a Miniature Schnauzer. When I heard about my dog’s disease prognosis, I began hand cooking him meals chock full of cancer-fighting vegetables and supplements in addition to his dry food. This included (as seen in my photos) sweet potatoes, red cabbage, broccoli, turmeric, fish oil, mushroom powder, etc. The vet had projected he would only live another 2 months, with my care and the change of his food, he lived and loved over 2 more years! So if your dog has a special diet, do not hesitate to let me know. I am currently a student who mainly works from home so I have plenty of time and a wide open schedule to care for your precious pets. My house is smoke free, pet safe and pet friendly. About: Throughout my life I've had 4 dogs. Currently I have two, with one being a 2-year-old pup I've been training ever since I adopted her and one that's pretty old and requires some special care. I used to work as a dog groomer for a business called Kendra's Grooming and I would watch her dogs when she went away with her family for vacation. For Kendra's Grooming I would bathe, dry, and hold dogs whenever needed. All of my classes are online currently for the summer and I'm open whatever day of the weekdays and Saturdays along with whatever time or for however long.
