Kristen is great with our two cats! She is extremely flexible and has been super accommodating with our unpredictable schedules, accepting last minute requests and making modifications when able. She makes a point to hang out and get pictures/videos of both our kitties and has always communicated well. We’ll definitely be rebooking in the future!

I have had Kristen cat sit for my two cats many times now while away on long weekend trips and several week long vacations. She always sends lots of daily pictures and communicates well how the kitties are doing every single day, which I greatly appreciate. She seems to genuinely care about the cats (even my feisty tabby) and it makes me feel more relaxed and comfortable leaving the cats for a few days since I know they are in very good hands. If you need a cat sitter she is definitely the best person to care for your kitties!

I really wanted to have a positive experience with Kristen because my cat seemed to really like her, and I had booked her for two back-to-back weekends while I was out of town. Unfortunately, the first weekend did not go as expected. The agreed-upon start time was 9:00 AM, but Kristen arrived after 10:00 AM both mornings. I understand that things happen, and one morning she had overslept and also needed to administer medication to another cat, which I was understanding of. However, the late arrivals meant my cats were fed significantly later than their normal breakfast time both mornings. I also had concerns about the accuracy of the visit timing. Kristen sent me photos at around 6:00 PM showing that she had cleaned up and returned my key under the mat, but the timestamps on the photos themselves were between approximately 3:50 and 4:07 PM. My cats' dinner was scheduled for 5:30 PM, so this indicated that she had left well before their scheduled dinner time. When I got home, my cats were acting very hungry, which was consistent with them not having been fed at their normal dinner time. I had disclosed to Kristen before she arrived for the weekend that I have a camera in my home. The camera showed there had been no activity in my apartment for over an hour by the time she told me she was just getting to her car around 6:00 PM. This was especially disappointing because I had specifically hired an in-home sitter so that my cats would have company and care for the full agreed-upon timeframe. I reached out to Kristen afterward and explained that I understood things could come up, but asked that she please be honest about the timing going forward. She apologized, and I thought we had cleared things up and that the following weekend would go smoothly. Unfortunately, Kristen then did not show up for the second weekend at all. I reached out to her multiple times, including asking whether I should arrange for another sitter, and received no response. Because we had already discussed and agreed upon back-to-back bookings, this left me scrambling at the last minute to find care for my cats while I was away. I've never had to leave a negative Rover review before, and I truly wanted this to work out. However, based on my experience, I would not recommend Kristen to someone who needs a sitter to reliably arrive at the agreed-upon time, provide care according to the agreed-upon schedule, and communicate consistently. The lack of communication and the no-show for the second weekend were especially concerning. I was very disappointed because I genuinely wanted this to be a good fit for both my cats and me. I gave two stars because while she was in the home, my cats were comfortable with her and independent of the lack of communication and honesty, she was very sweet towards my cats, which I am very appreciative of. I am just very sad with how it all unfolded.

We had a wonderful experience with Kristin! She took care of our cat Freya while we were away and kept us updated with lots of photos and videos visit summaries. We loved knowing Freya was getting attention, treats, and companionship during each visit. We highly recommend them for drop-in visits and absolutely book again!
