I can care for your pet in the comfort of your home or, if you’re comfortable with it, in my home. My yard is fully fenced, providing a secure space for dogs to play and explore safely. I understand how important it is to stay connected while you’re away, so I’ll provide regular updates with texts, photos, or calls to let you know how your pet is doing. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, giving them plenty of love, attention, exercise, and care to help them feel happy and at ease.

About: We are a family of 3 who live in the Gig Harbor/Purdy area. Our home is located on 2.4 acres with open grass areas and a fenced area if your dog prefers to be outside. **Note: fenced area is currently undergoing some summer cleanup so dogs are not left unattended in the yard at this time. We provide a designated doggy sleeping area inside our home which includes a soft doggie bed. We will make sure your pet gets a lot of outdoor time taking walks with us. I also make homemade, healthy doggie treats to spoil them while they are vacationing with us. Your pet will be treated as if he/she was our own pet and will have plenty of playtime and attention. We love dogs and want them to feel at home in our country setting. Also we are not a large kennel, so we only have 2-4 dogs at one time which allows us to give each dog plenty of time and attention and keep things mellow for the dogs and us. We do have our own doggie Willow. She just turned 5 in July. She does well playing with dogs of all sizes. She has made many dog friends through my daycare. *Due to restrictions of our homeowners insurance, certain breeds are not accepted at this time.* I am home all day to watch and play with your pet. I rarely leave but when I sometimes have to leave for short periods, your dog will be very comfortable in our large dog crates with comfortable padded beds. Our family loves dogs and your pet will receive alot of attention and exercise. During the day they can be outside playing in the fenced area (**see above) or just hang out inside with our family, and in the evenings all dogs sleep inside the house with us. We do use crates at night for dogs that are used to that and we provide soft dog bedding in the crates. Dogs that do not prefer crates sleep on dog beds in our bedrooms so they never feel alone.

About: I’ve never understood why chihuahuas loved me so much until I realized how much people don’t respect the boundaries of such small creatures. So much so, they feel the need to be aggressive and defend themselves! I know a good amount about dogs and dogs breeds, how different breeds have different needs and will strive to meet the needs of your fur-baby! I am a full-time Master’s student, but my classes are on weekends only. I have many things to read so overnights would likely be spent playing with your fur-baby before I get some reading done for my degree. To make sure you and your fur-baby feel safe with me in your home, I will make sure to talk through routines you may have with your pet(s). I know how hard it is to be away from your pet, so I will make sure to send photos and videos as requested. I want to make sure I know how to properly care for your pets, so I may have a couple extra questions to figure out how I may support you and your pet.

About: I have lived with animals most of my life. While I currently do not own a pet, I have continued to surround myself with the animals of my friends and family. I started cat-sitting 2 years ago. When I pet sit, I aim to ensure a great experience for my furry friends. I am currently working part-time as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and am flexible in my hours. I am currently a part-time Occupational Therapist, so I have flexibility in my schedule to take care of your furry friend. I have my own transportation as well. About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life! I’ve always been surrounded by pets through my family and have spent years babysitting dogs and other animals for family members and family friends. I’ve also had a dog of my own and currently have three cats and a ferret. I genuinely love spending time with animals and getting to know their individual personalities and routines. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I’m currently a full-time college student, but I only have classes on Mondays and Tuesdays from 1–3:30 PM. This gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the rest of the week, and I’d love to use that extra time to help pet parents care for their animals. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and would be happy to work around their individual routines and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet’s usual routines, feeding schedules, medications, walks, and other needs are maintained. I’m also mindful of doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could affect their safety. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would want for my own, and I’m happy to keep you updated with messages and photos while you’re away.

I've just been a cat mom for over 30 years and share custody of a 16.5-year-old Golden Doodle named Maestro the Lady Killer. He loves going on short walks and getting treats afterward. I am self-employed and a contract social worker so I make my own schedule. Caring for your furry family members can happen when you need me. Your furry family member's safety is my top priority. As a pet parent, I will treat your furry family member the way I'd expect a sitter to take care of my furry kids. I follow instructions well, so if you tell me they have a strict feeding schedule, I will follow it.

Otherwise, I have a custom "cat city" room and an outdoor patio and backyard for fur friends to get plenty of privacy (with supervision of course!) if they need it.

About: I love any animals. I have taken care of tiny kittens to older dogs. I have worked with pit bulls, retrievers and other dog breeds. I am more then happy to go above and beyond to make sure your pet has a good time while you’re away. I work as a full time para educator during the day. But I am free on all weekends and most major holidays. So while people are on vacation or working I am more then happy to work with your pets. I live in a studio apartment with my senior cat with FIV. He is on a strict feeding schedule and is taken to the vet regularly. He has plenty of toy and actives in my place to keep himself occupied while I’m at work.
