About: I saved my Chihuahua, Thistle, from a kill shelter when he was 18 months old. I nursed him through being hit by a car, helped him gain weight from being underfed, and encouraged him to be a confident dog (he was extremely anxious) through training and gentle love and care. From this, I learned how to administer medications to animals, so I can provide this kind of care to your fur babies also. My Chihuahua is now a senior dog, but you wouldn’t be able to tell with how active he is! He gets lots of walks and play time, and he loves it best when I get on the floor with him. I am comfortable getting to know your pet and giving them the level and type of attention that they need! I looked into breed specific care, and Chihuahuas have weaker joints, so I put him on a joint supplement right when I got him, and it has really made a difference in his mobility and quality of life. It’s important to administer care to animals in the specific way that is best for them! I would show the same consideration to your pet. That includes factoring in their temperament. As my dog has gotten older, his needs around personal boundaries have increased, so I make sure to check in with him before petting him, picking him up, or otherwise touching him, and I do not touch him if he gives me a no, except in an actual emergency (i.e. the animal could be hurt or hurt someone else if I do not touch them). Instead, I do something else and check in again later. This allows me to establish a real felt sense of safety and trust with your pet. I also had cats all growing up, and have a real affection for them, as well as a clear understanding of their boundaries. I would be honored to care for your pet family just as I care for mine! I currently freelance, which means I have the freedom to take care of your pets whenever you need me to. I can be flexible to your needs. As my dog is a people’s dog and not a dog’s dog, I offer my services in your home. I can walk your pet, do a drop-in visit, or housesit! I will follow your instructions to the letter, and ask about any specific or special care your pet might need.

Hedda is often shy and hides from cat sitters, but she was ready to greet Samantha each time she came. Samantha was so conscientious with our cats. She stayed much longer than expected to play with Moon, made good decisions when she couldn't reach me one time, and managed to keep him from getting outside (not easy!). About: I have been watching family and friends animals since I was 12. Always my passion, I have spent walking shelter dogs for Regional Animal Shelter of King County, which fed my soul. I love animals and I will go above and beyond so that your fur baby feels all of your love when you're gone. I don’t work at all so I’m available just about anytime. I would have my son with me. I pick up my other son from school around 11:40 so in between that and after I’m available. I live in a double wide trailer with lots of space and a beautiful big yard. I could also crate them if needed. My kids are very gental with dogs as well and they love to play!

One of our dogs is a senior and requires extra attention due to his health needs, but Cessily did a wonderful job following all of our instructions and giving him the extra care and attention he needed. She was very communicative, friendly, and always punctual. She also left our house clean and tidy. We really appreciated how well she cared for our dogs and would highly recommend her!
Annika used to watch our elderly dachshund and is now helping us by staying with our dachshund puppy. She is extremely reliable and willing to go the extra mile with a higher maintenance little guy. She provides excellent communication as well. We feel so fortunate to have found her, I always feel comfortable leaving our pup in her care.
Daniel was great with our two large dogs! He helped us out in a pinch and was super responsive. He followed our instructions to the T, was thorough, sent us updates and pics of our dogs, and left our house clean when we arrived home. He is very thoughtful with the dogs and despite our old fellow being incredibly difficult to med, Daniel was diligent in trying and found out a new med trick for us!! We will use him again.
