She was very communicative throughout the entire process from initial inquiry up until asking if I wanted her to stay until I got home from the airport which would have been a longer stay. Not needed this time but was a very generous offer in case I needed it. I was put at ease on my trip knowing lotus and my house were in such great hands. Also enjoyed all the photos! When your dog stays with me, they are literally the only guest in my home. They have full run of the house and fully fenced backyard, sleep wherever they feel most secure (many choose right in bed with me), and receive gentle, constant companionship in an ultra-low-stress environment. I work from home, have no children present, no other animals and I am the only person in my home. My fully fenced, spacious backyard gives them plenty of room to zoom, play, or just sunbathe while I’m never more than a room away. Canine CPR certified and comfortable with injections, fluids, seizure meds, tubes — whatever your dog needs. No kids, no pets, no chaos—just peace and snuggles Your dog lives like family: free roam, couch cuddles, my bed if wanted, constant company, daily yard play, fresh meals, meds, love—never crated or alone.

“Brigitta was great! Super communicative and flexible when I needed to adjust the time for our meet and greet. My cat is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice a day so her experience with injectable meds made me feel very comfortable about leaving him in her care. She house-sat for me and I came home to house that was at least as clean as I left it and two pets that were well cared for and happy :) She’s now my first call when I need creature care!”

I have dealt with unpredictable rescues, and am great at connecting with any type of animal! I view taking care of animals as a privilege, not a job! I am a university student home for the summer, so I have a lot of flexibility and availability. I can be home as much as needed for your animal’s needs! I have no pets in my home, so I can care for any animals without having to worry about interactions between other animals. I can stay at a clients house as much as is needed during the day to take care of animals, and I would be happy to help organize, clean, or house sit as well if needed!
