About: I grew up around dogs, from the moment I was born till now. Small to the largest they come, I am comfortable handling and caring for them all! I worked in animal husbandry at a major zoo and aquarium, so I am quite in tune to animal welfare needs! I have raised and cared for feral cats even too. I have worked in animal husbandry professionally for many years at a zoo and aquarium. I grew up with many dogs and several rodents even too so I am quite comfortable with all sorts of behaviors and demeanors! I am active and ready to engage with the animals in my care, with a variety of stimulus from play to exercise! About: Hi! I grew up locally on Fox Island with my family. We’ve always had 1-2 dogs at a time from puppy to elder. I’ve always taken on the responsibility that comes with dogs from a young age to now - feeding, play time, walks, cleaning and overall care. I have been active on Rover for the last four years and currently operate my own LLC. I reside in a quiet neighborhood at a dead end street with my six year old son - who is also great with dogs! My house includes a large fully fenced backyard - plenty of room for running, ball tossing and lounging. I have a flexible remote schedule which allows for ample potty breaks, outdoor time as well as extra care and attention! I am home with dogs for a majority of the time and generally do not leave them unattended for more than an hour for school drop-off, pickup, and local errand running. About: I have been taking care of others pets for about 5 years now and have had family pets of the furry, feathered, and scaly varieties my entire life. I've mucked stalls, scooped poop, cleaned cat boxes, all of the not so glamorous parts, and have enjoyed walking, playing and spending quality time while meeting each furry friends every day needs. I currently have a French Bulldog named Sophie and a Leopard Gecko named Leo who I have loved taking care of every day! I am currently on summer vacation so I am free every day except for one vacation I have planned in August (which is blocked out on my calendar). I am able and willing to stay as many days as you need in your home any time of the week with your pets. I am very flexible with my schedule so I can extend stays if needed. I plan on getting a regularly scheduled job after summer so my schedule will be less open but after communication I can let you know if I am available or not. My basic pet care will include bringing pets to the bathroom about every 2-4 hours, feeding pets required amount told by owners, playing with pets multiple times a day, cleaning up after pets, and any other special care instructions given by owners. About: I had 4 dogs growing up and my parents always had me on a tight schedule with taking care of them. I fed them every morning at 6AM or 10AM and at 5-6PM every night.
