About: GIG HARBOR! We love having dogs around. I am home full time and dogs are treated as family members. They get lots of love but also disciplined. We have a dog door and large fenced yard for playing. I have always owned dogs. I have gone through training with two of them. I am home full time. I quilt and garden a lot and generally have the dogs with me as I work. My husband does the shopping and cooking so I can concentrate on the pups. I am not available for holidays as they are spent with family. I have a large fenced yard, crate, dog beds, harnesses, leashes and toys. My own dog, in later life, was deaf, blind, required injections and specialized feeding.

About: I grew up on a small farm with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, pigs, two cows, one Shetland pony, one horse, one goat and a sheep! I LOVE animals and see them as family. Your pets will be treated with the same tenderness, attentiveness and enthusiasm that I share with my own fur babies. I currently am the proud mama to Sascha, a sweet shy German Shepherd and Cassius, a highly energetic border collie. I also have a "cat-dog", Mowgli. About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 6 years and have raised three dogs of my own, so caring for dogs is truly second nature to me! I’ve worked with all kinds of personalities, reactive dogs, shy or nervous pups, and super energetic dogs, and I always take the time to meet them where they’re at! I’m very patient and pay close attention to body language and behavior, which helps me build trust, especially with dogs who need a little extra reassurance or structure! I stick closely to routines, make sure dogs get the right amount of exercise and mental stimulation, and keep things calm and positive! What really sets me apart is how much I genuinely care! I treat every pet like they’re my own and want both pets and their owners to feel comfortable and confident! I also make sure to send regular updates and photos, so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for! I work part-time, so pet care fits really naturally into my routine. I’m mostly available on Fridays and weekends, which means I have plenty of time to give pets my full attention without feeling rushed! I always put pets’ safety and comfort first. On dog walks, I use secure leashes and harnesses, pay close attention to my surroundings, and go at a pace that’s comfortable for each dog. I’m careful around other dogs, traffic, and anything that might stress them out! For drop-in visits, I make sure pets feel relaxed and happy in their own home. I follow your instructions for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, or medications, and I keep routines consistent so pets feel safe and comfortable. I also send updates and photos so you know your furry friends are doing well! I treat every home and pet like they’re my own, and I make sure both feel respected and cared for!

Spanky is a shy boy and will not usually walk out of the house with a stranger, unless he is on leash. He liked Lelia enough to for a walk without being coaxed outside on his leash! I will definitely book Lelia again!”

About: My life goal is to meet as many dogs as possible. Hard to express in words why I love them as much as I do, but if you're a dog person too, you get it! I've had dogs all my life and am the current mommy to a very unique and handsome dalmatian mix. He's a complicated guy who is way too smart for his own good and particular about everything. It took a lot of work to train him as a pup but now he's the most perfect old man. One dog isn't enough though! I have enjoyed dog sitting for friends and family for many years. I've also volunteered at animal shelters for several years, where I walked and cared for a huge range of dog sizes, personalities, and special medical needs. I've had great success with shy and nervous dogs, I'm patient and gentle and I think they can sense it. I also have a lot of experience with young energetic dogs, I would love to get some physical and mental exercise along with them! Ask me about the "sniffari" approach, game changer!
