8 years Rover-sitting & loving it!
Having been a Rover sitter for over seven years now, I have been thrilled to enjoy the company of countless dogs, big and small, separation anxious and extra cuddly. Each pup is a joyful guest or host for me, and as someone who got her own puppy in June 2022, I take pride in being able to make them feel at home either in mine or yours. Our big pup Roux absolutely loves most dogs and people! She is just a goofy gal who loves to play, but would love to come and visit with your dog if they wanted to! As a previous Social Media Strategy Manager for a large PDX company, I adore providing updates for you while you’re away; who doesn’t love good dog content? I also love to bake and would be happy to have you return to something delicious! I am also quite active and tend to go on weekend hikes, rain or shine or snow. If your pup is up for it, I’d be happy to introduce them to new sniffs, but am also perfectly happy to park it on the couch and keep them company if that’s their style. I am that person that stops mid conversation to spot a cute dog, so know you will definitely be in good dog lover hands. If I sound like a good fit, I’d be happy to schedule a meet and greet or virtual meet up — I am totally flexible and look forward to hearing from you!

I will look to you to establish how you would prefer your dog be looked after, but typically I supervise as I let your pup roam to get used to me and give them a sense of belonging and understanding of a new person in their home. From here, I adore giving them loads of attention and working on commands if this is something they’re learning at the time!

Annie was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Charlie! She stayed with him in our home and did an amazing job. Communication was great throughout and she sent lots of pictures and updates, which really put us at ease. It was clear Charlie was very well cared for and had a great time; he spent most of his stay happily cuddling on the couch and was relaxed and happy when we got home. Annie was also very friendly and left our house clean and well taken care of. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.
This was our first time using a professional dog sitter. We had her house sit our senior dog while we got married. Our dog is very particular and anxious, but he got settled with Annie fairly quickly. She has a great calming energy and was very patient with our dog. She came over for a meet and greet and he warmed up to her faster than with most people. She allowed him to go at his own pace and she adapted to his needs. You can tell she’s very experienced and made the whole process much easier. She was great about sending us updates and photos/video and telling us about his day and what he did. Riley was in such good hands and we couldn’t recommend Annie enough. Would rebook if we weren’t moving out of the area. Highly recommended!
I cannot recommend Annie enough! She took incredible care of our fur baby, Loki, while we were away. From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves animals. She kept us updated with many photos, and little notes about how Loki was doing, which gave us so much peace of mind. My pup can be a bit shy at first, but Annie was patient and gentle, it was clear they’d become fast friends. When we came home, Loki was happy, calm, and clearly well-cared for. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and communicative, Annie is absolutely the one. We will definitely be booking with her again!
Annie was great. My house and my dogs were very well taken care of. She had to deal with my crazy automatic/RFID dog feeders going wacko and she was a champ to contact me and figure it out. She sent me regular picts of dogs which I liked.
Annie, Patrick and Roux are Walter’s new favorite people….human and canine! Annie was so flexible and lovely about scheduling mishaps on my part. We can’t wait to have them all back again.

I am in between jobs right now so I am around to give them attention, make them feel comfortable knowing someone is in their vicinity and take them out for breaks.
