My life has been filled with pets living as part of my family since I was a baby. I cannot imagine life without them. There are times when I need to entrust the care of my "kids" to others, so I understand how difficult that choice can be. Let me know if you are interested in a "meet and greet" and let's see if my services can be a value to you and yours. I look forward to hearing from you! Like many people these days, I recently transitioned away from a 26-year career in educational technology to pursue other interests. At this time, I am attending design school remotely, and have a flexible schedule that will allow me to support your pet sitting needs. My main focus/service at this time is in-home care to Gig Harbor residents only via drop-in service. I may also be able to accommodate the occasional overnight stay in my home if needed (fully fenced yard, but I do have a young Golden Retriever who is not yet neutered so must be mindful of that). I am available to feed, administer medications, and spend a little quality time to help your fur-babies miss you just a little less.

Dani took wonderful care of our dog, Rocket, from Saturday evening through Friday evening, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. She sent us frequent updates and lots of photos, and in every one, Rocket looked relaxed, happy, and well cared for. What really stood out was how she welcomed him into her family’s daily routine. She even let him sleep on the bed, where he’s most comfortable. One of my favorite updates was when she shared that he had claimed her husband’s pillow, and instead of minding, they thought it was adorable. That told me he truly felt safe and at home. It’s never easy leaving your pet behind, but Dani gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and attentive pet sitter. Thank you, Dani, for taking such great care of Rocket!

A typical day
I love to engage pets in whatever sort of play or activity they are open to and can benefit from. Here at home, we like to do "nose work" and agility training, go to the beach, and have mini-adventures here at home on our own property. :)
