About: I bring over 15 years of hands-on pet sitting experience, caring for animals of all kinds with patience and attention. My background includes looking after my own pets, helping family members with their animals, and providing trusted services through Rover. I have extensive experience with dog walking, ensuring pets get the exercise and care they need, as well as supporting the unique needs of puppies, including training consistency and supervision. In addition, I am very comfortable caring for cats, understanding their individual personalities and routines. My long-term experience has helped me develop a calm, reliable approach that keeps pets safe, happy, and well cared for. My schedule right now involves taking my son to and from school everyday and then errands as needed. I will easily be able to give your pet many hours of love and attention during their stay with us. I try to follow any and all routines you already have with your pet just in my home. I do have a fully fenced back yard with a 6ft privacy fence. I go for walks twice a day as my own routine and can add walks for more active pets.

“Wow are we ever lucky to have found Erica! She was incredible taking care of our two cats. Such good communication and lots of cute photos. She even took out our trash without us ever asking, changing the litter box and was such a pro at giving our cat her medication. She’s got such a heart for animals and we’re so thankful for her! Highly recommend!!”

“Holly was absolutely amazing. She took care of our three cats with such conscientiousness and love which was very evident given their behavior in the pictures she sent us. Two of our boys have health issues and need special food/medication and she handled that very adeptly. We will definitely be reaching out to her anytime we go somewhere. Thanks Holly!”
“Juli made me perfectly comfortable leaving her to care for my boys! I knew from our first visit that my cats were in good hands. Thank you so much for the picture and the update! I will definitely book you again!”

“Emily was wonderful with our cats! She sent a note and pictures everyday for us. I would highly recommend her and will definitely hire her again when we need to be gone.”

“I can't speak highly enough of Tobi! She was communicative, flexible, kind and patient. She went above and beyond my expectations! My cat is not an easy guy to care for, but Tobi took his grumpiness in stride. She even cleaned up his stress-messes! She checked on my big guy daily, followed all instructions, and her check-in cards with pictures really put me at ease. This was my first time using the Rover app and Tobi set the bar very high. I would recommend her to anyone looking for check-in care of their furry friend!”

“Rachel has been awesome! She is reliable and it has been very comforting knowing our puppy is in experienced capable hands. She also is a good communicator about pertinent updates during the drop ins. Definitely recommend!”

About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.
“Alyssa was so great. She came over prior to her first time letting the dogs out to meet them and tour the house. The dogs liked her right away and she asked all the right questions. She was on time for each of her visits and did a great job checking in and sending pictures. We will for sure use her again.”

“Elizabeth was so great and easy to work with! Her Rover cards were the most detailed I’ve ever received, and she really made sure to spend time with our kitty to give her sime playtime and snuggles. I would definitely recommend hiring her, and would love the opportunity to hire her again another time!”

“Very diligently took notes during the initial home walkthrough, very communicative during each of her visits with the kitties. Overall, a stellar pet-sitting experience and will absolutely be booking her in the future.”

“Theo was so amazing with my pup and made sure she got lots of attention! Very amazing and good understanding of dog’s needs and behavior, highly recommend Theo!”

“Win is awesome, seriously. She was super flexible and so accommodating of our last-minute request. Our initial meet and greet made me feel at ease immediately because of how thorough and friendly she was. I enjoyed her reports and the photos so much. Our dog, Milo has some separation anxiety and can be a little destructive but her quick response to my texts were so helpful and made me feel less anxious about leaving him. Milo absolutely loved her and I’ll definitely be booking with her again! Thanks so much, Win!!!”

“Lydia watched both my cat and dog over a holiday weekend. Great communication, sent me pictures every day. Very thankful to have someone look after them while I was away. Highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up with animals my whole life from rodents to dogs. I have experience with labradors, basset hounds, German shepherds, Shih Tzus, and cocker spaniels. I also have had bunnies, turtles, ferrets, and I currently have 2 guinea pigs! I love all dogs, big or small! When I was in high school, I got my own yellow lab- Sedona. I trained her on basic commands: sit, stay, paw, lay down, roll over, and polite walking manors! I recently retired from the Army, and I have a flexible, part time recreation job. Mornings and Evenings are typically the best time for me to schedule, but because my schedule is flexible I can make accommodations! Whatever guidance I am given to respect someone’s home I will do! As for dog walking, I keep all dogs on a leash for their safety. I can do long walks or short- fast paced or slow sniff everything walks.
“Kyle is such a great sitter! He always sends the best action shots of our cat playing and cuddling. We had a lot of packages arriving this last trip; he was so kind as to stop by to put a large one inside the day before our booking with him officially began, just because we had already left to head out of town. Thank you so much Kyle!!”

“We had such a great experience with Megan! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. I really appreciate the care and attention she gave them—it gave me so much peace of mind. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! 🐾”

Our cat loved Tobi immediately and he usually runs away from new people. Tobi spent quality time with our cat Sansa and took the time to feed, brush and take care of all his needs. We have never had strangers take care of our beloved pets before and we were weary at first but after the great care Tobi provided we are sold on Rover and would definitely recommend Rover and Tobi for your pets.

Lesley watched Cuervo while I was out of town for 2 1/2 weeks and did an amazing job of taking care of him. She brought him extra treats and really devoted her time when she was at my place to make sure Cuervo got love and attention! She really put my mind at ease while I was out of town. She’s the best!

Rachel was fantastic dropping in to take care of my cat. Very responsive and professional. Very attentive to my cat’s needs. And she was able to get me into her schedule despite my last minute request. Will definitely book her again if I need a sitter. Thanks Rachel!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
