About: I have lived with animals most of my life. While I currently do not own a pet, I have continued to surround myself with the animals of my friends and family. I started cat-sitting 2 years ago. When I pet sit, I aim to ensure a great experience for my furry friends. I am currently working part-time as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and am flexible in my hours. I am currently a part-time Occupational Therapist, so I have flexibility in my schedule to take care of your furry friend. I have my own transportation as well. I work hard to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your animal in their home environment. A detailed description of your animal's needs is much appreciated.
“So so happy I chose Rose to watch over my cat while I was away! She’s helped me out twice now short notice which has been a lifesaver. She is amazing at following my cat’s medication instructions and communicating everything to me. Truly so grateful we found her! Thank you, Rose!”

“Sara was the best friend for my doggie I could’ve possibly asked for while I was gone! She communicated exactly the right amount and was very considerate of my home. She took excellent care of everything and I felt great knowing that my baby had an awesome friend to look after her in my absence. I am so glad to have found Sara, she’s the best!”

“Heather was absolutely fabulous. I was gone for two weeks and she took excellent care of my two indoor cats. She had to coax them out, but by the end of the two weeks she had won them over. She went above and beyond to make sure to pick up a computer that was dropped off and even vacuumed before I came home. Communication was great. I got pictures and updates every day. I will absolutely use her again when I travel. I highly recommend Heather to take care of your fur babies.❤️”

“Winnie has been the BEST for Meko and we are so fortunate to have met her over a month ago. Meko and winnie have created a bond and I couldn't be happier!!! Thank you for genuinely caring for Meko!!”

“Marissa was amazing, she is so sweet and our kitty absolutely loved her. She took so many pictures and made sure to update me on how everything was going. Marissa went above and beyond. She gave me total peace of mind while I was gone. I will absolutely be using her again ❤️ I highly recommend Marissa!!”

“Emily is literally the best. She is so engaging with the dog. During drop-ins, she actually plays and interacts with Kenzai rather than “just checking in”. Kenzai absolutely adores Emily. She’s his best friend!! Emily is incredibly respectful, professional, and kind.”

“Issana was great with my girls! She came in time and stayed until the girls did their business and got some exercise. I was happy to hear she worked with my overly energetic dog and practiced sits. I will definitely use her again!”

“Skyler is a wonderful pet sitter for our three babies. She is always on time and informs me promptly on how the visit goes. It’s comforting knowing our babies are in good hands.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, have years of experience dog sitting, and even had my own little dog-walking business as a kid! I currently have three dogs of my own, from puppy to senior. As a homeschool mom, my schedule is very flexible! We’re home throughout the week and I can easily work walks and drop-ins around our homeschool schedule. I’m available during many of the hours when traditional work schedules can make pet care difficult. I’m a longtime dog owner myself, and safety is always my priority. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and make sure your pup gets plenty of attention, exercise, love, and care while they’re with me. 🐾
“We had such a great experience with Megan! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. I really appreciate the care and attention she gave them—it gave me so much peace of mind. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! 🐾”

“Morgan did a great job taking care of my two cats. She sent me photos and updates. She made time to entertain my babies and gave them treats. Morgan was very organized. When we first met she was taking down notes to try and meet my preferences. Morgan was very communicative, if she was unsure of any instructions or concerns she asked for more information. I would definitely hire her services again.”

“Elana is fantastic - she is a great communicator and I can count on her to be there. She’s been flexible when we need her and she takes great care of our pup. Thanks so much for everything Elana!”

About: I've cared for elderly dogs and cats of my own for years. My wife is also a rover sitter but mainly does cats and small dogs. We have also fostered 4 dogs in the past few years. One of my dogs at home has epilepsy, so I am experienced with seizures and giving meds on a regular schedule. I'm also experienced walking reactive dogs. Have cared for turtles, frogs, fish, chickens, etc. I have a flexible schedule during the week. My mornings and afternoons are generally free, plus some weekends. But not available for drop ins from 5-9pm on most week days. I'm located in the dash point/twin lakes area of SW federal way. I'm happy to do drop ins at your home for dogs+ cats or take your pups for a neighborhood walk. I can also do overnight house sitting. I have reactive dogs at home so I play it safe as far as avoiding other dogs/triggers on walks.
“We were lucky to get Noelle to take care of our two cats while we were away for Thanksgiving! She followed our instructions to a T - came in the right time window, made sure they were both OK, sending us pictures while we were gone, etc. She even managed to track down our elusive shy kitten for pictures. A+, would book again! Thanks Noelle!”

“Nate took great care of my really difficult cat. I have had prior sitters tell me she gave them issues like hissing/growling or swatting if they got too close, but that didn’t happen with Nate. I noticed when I got back home she was a lot less anxious and aggressive than she usually is when I return and that is purely due to Nate’s excellent care.”

Sara is amazing! She took such great care of our two cats while we were away. They got plenty of playtime, and she made sure they were fed the right amount of food. The photos she sent us with her updates were also great and very personalized. It was so nice getting to see how they were doing while we were gone. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our babies! ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
