“Thanks for all the great pictures on Kona’s walks! Appreciate them—reminds me what a lovely neighborhood we live in. Kona is so enjoying his walks. Gets very excited when he sees you come up the driveway!”
“Emily has been walking my dog Django for only three days and he’s a different dog. Myself and two other professionals have tried with no success to get him to loose leash walk for three years. Emily pulled it off in 3 days!!! lol! I come home in the evening and he’s calmer and so much happier. Emily is kind, caring, and clearly enthusiastic about her work. So grateful to have found her!!”

“Rose is highly reliable, prompt, experienced, communicates well & often, handles my large hound skillfully, and is a pleasure to have helping with my dog. I intend to keep booking with her into the foreseeable future.”

“Lauren is a natural animal whisperer and very communicative! Yoshi is leash reactive and does not have the best recall, yet he came back to Lauren when called, and he has never done that in the six years he's been with me when he escapes (he is a Houdini baby). I appreciate Lauren sending 3-4 pictures per walk too. Highly recommend Lauren!”

About: Hi! I adore dogs and I’d love to take care of yours while you’re away. I’ve had dogs ever since I was little, so I’m very familiar with their care. I’m also experienced with nervous dogs. Dogs are more than just pets, they are family. I’m currently a part-time college student, so I have lots of free time. I’ve just recently moved to Washington after visiting family here for many years. I absolutely love it here. If you’re going out of town or just staying late at the office, I’d be happy to look after your furry friend while you’re gone. I can feed them, spend time with them, or take them on a walk.
“Zoe was an excellent petsitter and truly went above and beyond. She was very friendly, flexible and responsible. She made sure to communicate to me of any incidents or concerns, and made sure that my pups were doing well at all times. She provided me with daily updates such as when she arrived, how my pups were doing, and made sure to take many pictures. She was very kind and cleaned up any accidents, which she did not have to do, so I really appreciate that. She was always on time everyday as well. I also really appreciate that she wrote detailed reports of all of the dog walks, which allowed me to know furthermore how my pups were doing. Overall, Zoe was the sweetest person and did a perfect job. I would totally recommend her with anyone and I would love to book with her soon!”

“Issana was wonderful! She is professional and friendly, and keeps in mind dog preferences. I was very happy to have her walk my dog this week and she showed up rain, snow or shine.”

“FANTASTIC! Megan made the arrangements of walking our old man (Labrador) while we went out of town so easy. She is clearly a natural with animals, to include dealing with my elderly mother. Thank you Megan!!!!!”

About: I had 4 dogs growing up and my parents always had me on a tight schedule with taking care of them. I fed them every morning at 6AM or 10AM and at 5-6PM every night. I also walked them and cleaned their messed when needed, and finally i never let their water bowl go dry. I love dogs and when I’m around them long enough they’ll love me. I will have plenty of time to take care of pets during the week. Im currently trying to make any extra cash I can right now. Which ever way a dog has to he taken care of I can do it. Each of my dogs growing up had different food and ways they needed to eat so I always took care of that
“10/10. Nate was awesome, this was my first time getting any service from rover, since I was wary leaving my dogs in the hands of other people but my dogs immediately loved Nate as soon as they saw him lol. He walked each of them for an hour each, even with their high energy & leash pulling selves lol. They came back from their walk happy & tired which is what I wanted. He took good care of my dogs on their walks and I’ll definitely be booking with him again in the future!”

“Alyssa has been fantastic with our two pups! She came over for a meet-and-greet and then we immediately booked her for two days of walks and then again for a third. Our Lab was exhausted every day. We love the pictures and the Rover card details. We’re looking forward to Alyssa helping out more! The dogs love her!”

About: About Me Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I helped raise litters, bottle-feed puppies, and care for our pack of four. Those experiences taught me how to read dog body language, understand routines, and safely handle dogs with calm confidence. I’ve continued caring for dogs over the years and bring a grounded, patient approach to every pup I meet. I want every dog to feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my care. I’m married, have a 12-year-old daughter, and a baby boy. I’m also a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I love getting outside, spending time with dogs, and building trust with each pup I care for. Dog Walking I offer 30- and 60-minute walks tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, and routine. Whether your dog prefers a brisk outing or a slow sniff-walk, I adjust the walk to what works best for them. I’m happy to reinforce basic training cues, and you’ll receive photos and a summary after each visit. 🚨 Because I may have my baby with me during walks, I only accept well-trained, leash-friendly pups for dog walking. I require a meet-and-greet with every new pet before booking so we can get acquainted and make sure we’re a good fit. Drop-In Visits Drop-ins can include potty breaks, meals, medication if needed, and plenty of quality time—whether your pup wants to play, cuddle, get some attention, or simply have calm companionship. Please make sure each pet is listed on your Rover profile so I can provide accurate and consistent care. For your pet’s well-being, please book enough visits to match their normal routine and comfort needs. No matter the service, I guarantee your pup will get loadssss of love and cuddles. I mean… why else would I be doing Rover?! ❤️🐾 Currently a Stay at home mom so I have quite a bit of flexibility but may need to bring my baby. Please only submit a request if your pets are well trained and child friendly. Your dog’s safety and emotional comfort are my highest priorities. Here’s what you can always expect when your pet stays with me: Supervised interactions only — especially with kids or when new dogs arrive. Slow, gentle introductions so your dog builds trust at their own pace. No off-leash exposure unless in a fully fenced, secure area. Detailed updates with photos or videos. Structured feeding times exactly the way you request. A calm and predictable environment (dogs relax faster this way!). We have a gated kitchen which separates your pup from our front door. We also have apple tags that will be put on every dogs collar or harness once they arrive. We double check our perimeter after every pup and keep on eye on them while they are outside for potty and play breaks. Immediate communication about anything unusual, like changes in appetite, bowel movements or behavior. My experience raising puppies, seniors, and multi-dog groups means I’m comfortable reading subtle cues and adjusting care quickly. Your dog will always be treated with patience, affection, and respect.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, have years of experience dog sitting, and even had my own little dog-walking business as a kid! I currently have three dogs of my own, from puppy to senior. As a homeschool mom, my schedule is very flexible! We’re home throughout the week and I can easily work walks and drop-ins around our homeschool schedule. I’m available during many of the hours when traditional work schedules can make pet care difficult. I’m a longtime dog owner myself, and safety is always my priority. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and make sure your pup gets plenty of attention, exercise, love, and care while they’re with me. 🐾

I was surprised he wasn’t sopping wet when he came in! You did a good job drying him—thanks! He’s getting more excited about rabbits although it doesn’t take much to get him going. Thanks for taking him on different routes each time. I just read that’s an important part of regular walks which I didn’t realize before. I appreciate the great job you are doing with Kona!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
