“Marissa was amazing, she is so sweet and our kitty absolutely loved her. She took so many pictures and made sure to update me on how everything was going. Marissa went above and beyond. She gave me total peace of mind while I was gone. I will absolutely be using her again ❤️ I highly recommend Marissa!!”

About: Sam and I have been passionate animal lovers our entire lives and have cared for both dogs and cats since we were young. We're comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities, from energetic puppies who love to play to senior pets who need a little extra patience, attention, and care. We have two friendly dogs of our own, so it's important that any furry guests staying with us are comfortable around other animals. We understand that every pet has unique needs, and we'll treat your furry family member with the same love, care, and attention we give our own. Between Sam and I, there will always be someone home with your pup to provide lots of love and attention. Our dogs Loki and Genki will be thrilled to have new friends stay over that they can play with. Our home is designed to be a comfortable place where dogs can relax, play, and feel right at home. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor fun, plenty of toys throughout the house, and lots of cozy spots for lounging. Whether your pup enjoys a game of fetch, playing with toys, or simply curling up for a nap, we'll make sure they have a fun and comfortable stay. We also share our home with two cats who generally keep to themselves. If your dog is comfortable around cats, they'll be welcome to enjoy full access to our home. If not, that's absolutely no problem—we can easily keep your pup separated from the areas where our cats spend their time to ensure everyone stays happy, comfortable, and stress-free.
“Our yellow lab Rosie had the best time! She got plenty of walks and attention, and Rose even helped clean up and take care of a little skin irritation while we were gone. We came home to a super happy pup and couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!”

“Heather is a great help! She is so sweet and kind with our little goldendoodle puppy Lulu. She is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend her services.”

“I always trust Issana with my baby cat any time I'm in need of a sitter. My cat is well taken care of with her and Issana is so caring and attentive with him. 10/10 would recommend ❤️”

“Trust! Abbey is everything I wanted to find!! I had some truly horrible experiences before. Now, I have found Abbey and she is kind, understanding, fun, patient, respectful, and follows all rules/requests! 10/10 truly amazing pet sitter unlike most on rover. She truly is what her profile says! She has brought me and my partner peace of mind knowing our baby is safe and enriched with her. Also, she brought in a package that arrived for me without even being asked! Very thoughtful. Thank you Abbey!”

“Morgan was wonderful to work with. She is reliable and responsive. She was great with our pup and he seemed to have a great time. Will definitely be requesting her services again.”

“Ivy was fantastic! I appreciated her patience, understanding, and consideration with Aspen. She was kind, thoughtful and careful while Aspen became comfortable with her. Scheduling and coordinating with Ivy was a breeze. She put in time and effort to make the schedule and manage everything through Rover. I'll be using Ivy in the future, without a doubt.”

“It was awesome knowing that our pets were being cared for. We didn’t worry a bit. Andrhu immediately made us feel comfortable leaving. He went above and beyond. I strongly recommend Andru to everyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter.”

“I can’t recommend Soleil enough as a cat care provider! She visited Zima every day while I was away, and I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in such capable and caring hands. Zima is a very social cat who needs a lot of interaction and playtime, and Soleil went above and beyond to give her the attention she craves. I especially appreciated how closely Soleil monitored Zima’s food and water intake, and how she kept me updated with thoughtful notes and photos. It was clear she wasn’t just checking in — she was truly looking out for Zima’s well-being. If you’re looking for someone reliable, communicative, and genuinely devoted to your pet’s happiness and health, Soleil is the best. Zima and I are both so grateful for her!”

“10/10 would recommend & rebook. Megan was really great with our fur babies as well as keeping us informed while we were away. We forgot to leave the TV on for our pets and she remembered our conversation during our initial meeting, and turned on the TV for them. The peace of mind and care she provided was everything we could have asked for.”

“I was anxious to find a dog sitter, and I wanted to make sure I found someone with a decent amount of experience. Sophia was more than happy to do a meet-and-greet with both of my dogs. She met them both where they were at, and they both had a successful first experience getting care from someone other than me or a close friend.”

“Skyler is a wonderful pet sitter for our three babies. She is always on time and informs me promptly on how the visit goes. It’s comforting knowing our babies are in good hands.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fife Heights
Rose offered a casual meet and greet first with our kitty, giving us all greater peace of mind since this was our first time using a professional sitter. Rose did a great job, sent updates, and our kitty was brave enough by the end to say hello. Would definitely utilize Rose again!

Heather was absolutely fabulous. I was gone for two weeks and she took excellent care of my two indoor cats. She had to coax them out, but by the end of the two weeks she had won them over. She went above and beyond to make sure to pick up a computer that was dropped off and even vacuumed before I came home. Communication was great. I got pictures and updates every day. I will absolutely use her again when I travel. I highly recommend Heather to take care of your fur babies.❤️

Kayleigh was so attentive to my cat’s needs, I could tell he was happy and cared for while we were gone. She provided the cutest photos of Benny and let us know in detail how he was doing each visit. We could tell he looked so happy in her company. I was so nervous leaving him alone for the first time but Kayleigh made me feel so comfortable and at ease knowing he was in great hands. 11/10, I will definitely use her services again next time we’re out of town!!

Morgan did a great job taking care of my two cats. She sent me photos and updates. She made time to entertain my babies and gave them treats. Morgan was very organized. When we first met she was taking down notes to try and meet my preferences. Morgan was very communicative, if she was unsure of any instructions or concerns she asked for more information. I would definitely hire her services again.

Great experience! Kimberly was very communicative and kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us peace of mind. She took excellent care of our three cats and made sure they were well fed, comfortable, and loved. We would definitely book with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
