“Ivy was fantastic! I appreciated her patience, understanding, and consideration with Aspen. She was kind, thoughtful and careful while Aspen became comfortable with her. Scheduling and coordinating with Ivy was a breeze. She put in time and effort to make the schedule and manage everything through Rover. I'll be using Ivy in the future, without a doubt.”

“Leslie was incredible with my shy little pup. She kept in great communication with me and really went above and beyond. Would definitely use her in the future and would recommend :)”

About: Animal lover, retired after 35 years working as an Auditor for the U.S. Army. My menagerie over the past 30 years has included dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, birds, and fish. Currently owned by energetic husky girl named Tikanni Rose and a sweet tortie kitty named Willow. I have a college age daughter living at home who can take of my fur baby while I take care of yours. I have experience with senior pets, puppies, and kittens, and previously fostered for a cat rescue. I'm retired, so I have plenty of time to devote to your fur babies. I am available for pet sitting services in your home, including overnight stays or drop in visits, and dog walking. Home owner on a quiet cul-de-sac with a fully fenced yard. Will schedule a meet and greet to ensure I fully understand your pet's needs. Happy to provide photos and videos.
“It was awesome knowing that our pets were being cared for. We didn’t worry a bit. Andrhu immediately made us feel comfortable leaving. He went above and beyond. I strongly recommend Andru to everyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter.”

“Veronica took wonderful care of our 16 year old kitty, Mini! Not only was she available on pretty short term notice and able to come by to meet Mini before we left, she also navigated her complicated supplement feeding schedule extremely well! IN ADDITION!! Veronica opted to spend some extra time with the small beast (of her own accord) towards the end of our trip because she could tell she was getting pretty lonely. On top of all that, we got great pics and status updates on how she was doing after every visit. Veronica is an amazing person who will go above and beyond for your fur babies— I will definitely be asking her again next time we take a trip. Thank you Veronica!!”
“I admit I had separation anxiety leaving my two elder cats due to all the extra attention they received during the pandemic! This was my first trip since end of 2019 and Susan (at the last minute) came to my rescue after a relative had to cancel pet sitting. Susan came on time twice a day, sent pictures daily, and kitties looked happy upon my return. Thank you so much for your time and care. Much appreciated!!”
“We could not have asked for a better sitter! From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear our dogs felt completely at ease — and that comfort only grew. We came home to dogs that were relaxed which as a dog parent means everything to me. The photo updates showed the pups who were genuinely enjoying themselves, not just being "watched." It's obvious that Diana has a real gift for making dogs feel safe and loved. We'll absolutely be booking again and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your dog like family.”

“Jazmyne was fantastic! I booked her to check in on my four cats for a couple days and am happy I did. She was kind, communicative, willing to take on the challenge of feeding my monsters wet food (they are spoiled and will only eat their food if I prepare it a certain way), spent time playing with them, and left my home nice and tidy. Additionally, she was able to make my grumpy Siamese comfortable enough to run on his cat wheel! I will 100% be booking with her from now on.”

“I was anxious to find a dog sitter, and I wanted to make sure I found someone with a decent amount of experience. Sophia was more than happy to do a meet-and-greet with both of my dogs. She met them both where they were at, and they both had a successful first experience getting care from someone other than me or a close friend.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own personal two dogs and one cat since I was 10 years old. Since I turned 14 I became the designated pet sitter in my neighborhood and took care of various pets. I have experience in training young pets and have a genuine love for all animals. I know how hard it can be to have a pet and a busy schedule so I would love to help others take care of their furry friends :) I am in school currently all day Monday-Wednesday but can provide overnight care or drop ins after I am out of school at 7:30 pm. The rest of the week I have open availability to care for your furry friends😊 I live in an apartment with plenty of room for your pets to run around and play as well as a large complex with grass fields for them to play in, use the restroom, and go on walks. The complex is gated so there is zero chance your pet can get out but I will also never leave them unsupervised.

About: Animals have been my passion all my life. I have cared and watched for every type of breed you can think of since I was 15. I know how stressful it can be leaving your baby with a stranger that's why I ensure the best care for your animal by sending daily pictures and videos to you. To keep your pets most comfortable I always try my best to make them feel at home, all pets have free roam of my house at all times and are allowed on all funiture. I hope your pet loves cuddles because all pets are welcome to sleep on my bed with me. Your dogs will receive tons of walks and playtime during the day. Dogs are not just pets but my family so leave your pup with someone who will love them just as much as you love them. I'm a full time stay at home wife so your pups can have my attention all day and will never be left alone. I'm available all through out the week days and weekends and is able to provide around the clock pictures and updates at any time given. I have a big house and yard for your pups to stay occupied and happy during their stay and can assist on any special needs your dog might have. I work part time from home, so I have plenty of time to house sit or take care of my furry clients from home. Give them all my attention. My weekends are free. I have a small fenced area in the back of my house. And a big open basement area with lots of lighting. For pups to play in.

“I needed a sitter last minute for my pups for SBLX Sunday & Haylee accepted my request right away! We discussed the details on the phone prior to her visit with them. She sent me pics of how relaxed & happy they were!. 💖🐶🐶🐶💖 I will definitely have her over for future visits!”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Natalie was super communicative, timely, she sent great pics and videos and followed instructions to a T! I’m really excited because I feel like I finally found my go to. Thank you Natalie!!!!”

“Adelle was great! She fed Pepper who is the ultimate "scardy-cat!" She checked in and sent me pictures of the lump under my comforter - yes, that's Pepper. She was responsible and I was so thankful that she made sure my baby girl was taken care of. I didn't realize how much I would miss my cat until I started receiving the pictures. I cannot thank Adelle enough for helping me while I was on vacation.”

“Madison is so kind and affectionate to our animals on many bookings. She is great with giving our kitty his medicine twice a day, plays with our dog, and is very respectful of our home always making sure the front door is locked. We look forward to booking her again!”

“Aleta was amazing! She took excellent care of our cats while we were away and kept the litter box and food area very clean. She even helped with a last minute vet visit for one of our cats who has been pretty sick while we were gone. We are so grateful for her communication and overall support. Highly recommend her!”

Natalie was did some drop in visit with my babies for me and she was amazing!! 🥹 Our dog Thunder can be really shy and nervous and she took the time to make sure that he was comfortable with her and went potty each time! She fed our kitties and even cleaned up the mess from our special needs boy trying to eat! (He gets kibble everywhere). Constant pictures were sent which was gave me such peace of mind that our babies were well taken care of. Natalie even went above and beyond and did some of our dishes! We’re so looking forward to continuing to work with her! We have a 4 day housesitting job booked for the last week of the month and we couldn’t feel more at ease that she’ll take care of our babies the way we would. Thank you Natalie❤️❤️

Jaz was amazing and so reliable! We had some issues with our garage door opener/key but she handled everything so well and got it all taken care of so that she could check on our kitties! We so appreciate the extra effort she put in to help us while we were away. The babies looked very happy and comfortable in all the photos and videos she sent. Will absolutely book her again in the future :)

Alexis was amazing! She took great care of our cats. She even got pictures of our scaredy-cat which says a lot because he usually hides when anyone comes near him. Super happy with her service & wouldn't hesitate to use her again when we're away. Highly recommend! :)

Madison continues to be extremely good with care of our animals. Our geriatric dog requires medicine daily and has a specific routine of needing to potty after meals. Madison was able to accommodate this and help prevent accidents. My cat requires medicine twice daily as well. They both love her and she has been reliably available when we need her.

Leslie took great care of my Layla when I was gone for a full week. All the anxiety I had about leaving her behind was gone after seeing pictures and videos of her doing well. I feel so much better knowing that I have someone dependable to watch her if I have to leave town again.

Anna made drop-in visits to our cats while we were away for two weeks, and what a relief it was knowing they were well taken care of! Anna was great at communicating, responsive, and shared updates and photos regularly. She’s smart, friendly, responsible, and trustworthy.. everything we needed to feel okay about being away from our fur babies for that long. Thanks so much Anna!!

Micah did a great job looking after my cat, Ezra, while I was out of town for a week. They made sure he was well-fed, kept the litter box clean, and gave him plenty of attention and affection. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat. I’d definitely trust Micah to watch Ezra again and recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable, caring pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
