“Our Australian Labradoodle loves her time with Odalys! We have her set for weekly doggy day care. She is so happy at drop off and exhausted at pick up. The best of both worlds. We feel like she is treated as part of their family and are especially grateful for the superb care of our pup! Highly recommend!”

“Leslie was great with our pup. With this being our first time using Rover I was a bit nervous leaving our guy with someone. But Leslie allowed us to do a meet and greet with my pup and her and her dogs, and they hit it off great. It was comforting to know that he’d be treated with the same level of care as when he’s home. When the day finally came to leave him, my pup was nervous being left behind and I was nervous leaving him, but that anxiety was eased by regular updates with texts, a picture and a video. She really was amazing and her husband was pretty awesome too with supporting her. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again! Thank you Leslie for being so awesome with your care of my fur baby:)”
“The sweetest lady to take care of my pup. Picking up my boy & he fell asleep within 2 mins driving away from her driveway. I’m sooo glad he had such a adventurous day!!”

“I was so lucky to find Ashley! She is so kind and sweet to my Nui. He was so comfortable there. Til bed time, beautiful she wa so patient with him and wore him out! I am so blessed to have met you Ashlet. THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF NUI ASHLEY! Definitely will be using her again!”

“I want to take an extra opportunity to give a great recommendation for Charlotte. . This daycare visit was a test drive prior to selecting Charlotte to provide our Macklins first overnight stay. Based on his excellent care, we also booked Charlotte for his weekend boarding.”

“Kristina is wonderful, she is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about all the dogs. This was Livvy’s first time at doggy day care and she had a great time, we will definitely be scheduling more visits!! Thank you so much!”

“She is wonderful! Takes great care of our 9 week old puppy, and is very considerate of the fact that he is not fully vaccinated so she keeps him separate from other dogs. She is awesome!”

“First time leaving our pup Truffle with Kathie today. Kathie was super great! Truffle had a terrific time with Kathie and her husband and their dog, Hershey. Truffle was treated like part of the family. Spent lots of time sitting on their laps, getting cuddled, went for a walk. What a fun filled day for Truffle! Kathie kept me posted and sent me photos throughout the day. Would definitely have Kathie take care of Truffle again.”

“Meredith watched our 2 dogs and was excellent. She showed us the yard, house, etc. All was very clean with no smells - she even offered to make rice for our nervous dog as we were moving. Throughout the day she would send us pictures and keep us updated. I would definately use her again.”

About: I’ve been caring for cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies for over 12 years. It started when I was young, helping family and friends with their pets, and naturally grew into fostering both puppies and adult dogs. Today, I live with a ragdoll cat, two mini schnauzer doggies, and regularly foster dogs. My 2 senior cats that I grew up with currently live with my mom. Every dog or puppy I foster and have in my home learns routines and tricks based on their needs. I’ve helped with leash training, crate and potty training, managing toy reactivity, and teaching commands like sit, shake, and touch. My pets get plenty of playtime, structure, and love and yours will too. I’m careful with pet introductions and always prioritize comfort and safety. I understand every animal is different and will listen closely to your concerns to provide personalized care. I also love sending regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and loved. I work from home, and I am pretty flexible on ensuring the care needed for your pet. I have a lot of time to spoil your pets! I have a fully fenced yard, and monitor pets when they are outside. I introduce pets slowly with positive association and ensure each pet is comfortable. I also have a fence to separate pets indoors if needed. When caring for friends/family's pets, I always ensure pets do not bolt out the door both when coming inside and leaving. When walking a pup, I always ensure their harness/collar is on correctly and have high reward treats/toys to ensure focus stays on me if there are distractions. I never overwhelm an animal and understand they take time to warm up, especially when it is my first time meeting them.

About: I have been taking care of dogs almost every week on the weekends along with sitting for my neighborhood dogs, cats, birds and guinea pigs while they are on vacation or away from their home. I am comfortable feeding dogs, interacting with them and I love to give lots of love. I am familiar with giving medication’s to dogs if needed. Your animal will be in good hands as I will love them as my own. Whatever an owner needs for them and their dogs to be well cared for, I can accommodate. I work from home, so the dog will always be accompanied with me. we’ll have plenty of playtime, outside time and potty breaks. I provide at least 2 walks a day and several Potty breaks from 7 am up until 10 Pm. I have a fenced yard where they can play as they like and they can hang out inside as well. I am very interactive with the dogs and love to send pictures.
“Priscilla was great, she was able to help watch my dog even on short notice! She watched my dog for about 9hrs, I received frequent check ins and pictures of my dog. Great communication!”

“We’re very happy to have found Mollie and her crew for weekly daycare for our Great Dane puppy. They’re very understanding of his needs and knowledgeable in dog care and behavior, making his transition into their home as easy as could be! Mollie is really on it with communication and updates and is willing to work with him while he’s learning. Our pup is well cared for and well loved, as evident by how he jumps up with excitement from a dead sleep when he gets dropped off in the morning. Grateful for the M’s and their pups!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had a dog of my own as an adult. I currently have two friendly, mature lab mixes who are well-socialized and used to being around other dogs. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and providing a safe, comfortable environment where pets can feel at home. I treat every dog like part of the family and aim to provide reliable, attentive care you can trust. I currently work full time from home and I have a great fully fenced in landscaped back yard. I live close to a nice park for great walks and exercise. I’m very accommodating to the needs of your pet, I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly pups. Chandra was great! Great communication and easy to work with. She was home the entire time with our dog, which is just what we needed. We were in town for a wedding and felt confident and comfortable leaving Blitz with Chandra. We will definitely use her again if we are back in the area.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
