About: I have owned pets my entire life and miss having them around. Timing is not right for me now to have my own so I am opening my life up to caring for others’ pets. I currently work from my home office which allows me flexibility to care for pets periodically throughout the week. Most weekends are open for me. My apartment complex has a fenced play yard for dogs. I also walk for exercise frequently and would take your dog on walks with me.
“I had a family emergency and had to leave town ASAP, Ivy without hesitation stepped up and made sure Bear had his walks and was taken care of. I cannot thank Ivy enough for helping me out on such short notice during such a stressful time. She is truly the best!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had a dog of my own as an adult. I currently have two friendly, mature lab mixes who are well-socialized and used to being around other dogs. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and providing a safe, comfortable environment where pets can feel at home. I treat every dog like part of the family and aim to provide reliable, attentive care you can trust. I currently work full time from home and I have a great fully fenced in landscaped back yard. I live close to a nice park for great walks and exercise. I’m very accommodating to the needs of your pet, I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly pups. I’d love to setup a meet and greet before any service to ensure all parties feel comfortable.
“Andrhu is so great with our girls! He plays so well with our social dog so that she is worn out and happy when we get home. For our shy dog, he gives gentle attention and praise, working to form a bond of trust. He was also so thoughtful to stow our Amazon delivery safely out of sight. He really is the best!”

“Oh my goodness. What a great human. Emilia was so patient, sitting with my shy dog before going on the walks and she warmed up so well after the patience. I got videos and pictures. Emilia went above and beyond, so grateful!!”

About: I had a Neapolitan mastiff and a beagle poodle mix. I adopted a poodle (Lady) in October 2025, and then another one (Ricky) in June 2026 . I’m a dependable dog mom and will follow all your doggie care instructions. Your pups will be loved, well-cared for, have a lot of fun playing if that’s what they like! SPACE: I own my home. I have a fenced yard dog run, so your babies will be safe and secured. I have a 2300 sq ft home on .78 acres, so plenty of room to run and play. My neighborhood has one dog-friendly park within a short walking distance and we have two big dog parks close by (driving). Most roads have a speed limit of 25 miles per hour, so very safe to walk around the neighborhood. But the property is large, so we walk around it too. Unfortunately at this time I am not hosting puppies (under 1 year) or dogs that are not potty-trained. I work from home two days a week and am available weekends all day. I work out and walk in the morning rain or shine. My work schedule is flexible so I can go out for walks multiple times a day and can drive anywhere if needed. My evenings are also open. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I’m an active and responsible dog mom with 2 fur babies, so your fur baby will be showered with love and care from me, and companion ship from furry friends!
“Nikki was great! Super responsive with the booking, updated me with how my dog was doing, and when I got home he was such a happy boy to have someone to hang with while I was gone. Highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I've had dogs ever since I was little and I've loved all of their personalities. I've cared for dogs, cats, rats, fish, birds and snakes. My boyfriend and I are the parents of a little short haired devil of rat terrier. He's definitely kept us on our toes training wise and he is more amusing than he realizes. I am a gentle owner who values the happiness of the pet as well as retaining their learned routines and commands. Potty breaks, walk breaks, and play breaks are important as well as practice in relaxing. Learning their character, joys, and needs are vital to me and I will do everything I can to make your loved one feel cared for and catered to. I’ve moved from Washington to California, and though I work a rather full schedule I am free most weekends. I can be flexible but providing the best quality care for a pet is important. Creating a calm but caring environment is the goal as well as providing stimulation and healthy exercise. I have experience with crate training dogs so that will be a service I can follow through with if your dog has a routine with their kennel. Their normal routine, training, and habits are something I will take care to keep to ensure a calm and familiar experience.

So I have plenty of time to give pets attention, walks, playtime, and consistent care! I always prioritize trust and creating a comfortable environment for every pet. I have two friendly dogs of my own. I have played coach attention to routines, instructions and other pets personality to help them feel secure and cared for while you’re away. Communication and dependable care are all very important to me.

About: I have two dogs of my own and I’ve worked with trained and untrained dogs. I’m a regular dog walker for my friends and family, they know they can rely on me to step in when they need a bit of help! AND I just love dogs! I currently work part time outside of dog sitting and walking. This means I am fully available on Sundays and Mondays and then the rest of the week I’m available mid day - afternoon. If we arrange it and I can do it, I can also stop by in the mornings before work to take your pup out for a quick potty run and feed. I live in an apartment so I know many trails in the area that are great for dog walking! I have two friendly dogs to keep your dog company, (if they like that), if not I can definitely do solo walks/ playtime!

About: I have over 25 years experience of hands-on pet experience, caring for animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, mice, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, and more. My background includes working with rescues, supporting pets as they transition into safe, loving environments with patience and understanding. I also have experience with puppy training, using positive reinforcement to build good manners and confidence. In addition, I provide senior pet care, offering gentle handling, routine support, medication assistance, and extra TLC for aging pets. From energetic puppies to shy rescues, and senior companions, I tailor my care to each pet's unique needs- always treating them like family! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I am already out running errands and going on walks throughout the day and evening, so adding pet visits and dog walks is a natural part and highlight of my schedule. Because I have difficulty sleeping, I'm flexible with early mornings, late nights, and unconventional hours, which allows me to provide care when others may not be available. I genuinely enjoy spending that extra time caring for animals, whether it's a quiet overnight check-in, a midday walk, or an evening visit. I am happy to pet sit in your home, keeping your pet comfortable in their familiar environment while maintaining their regular routine. When caring for your pets in your home, I follow their normal routine so everything stays calm and familiar. I handle feeding, fresh water, medications, litter boxes or habitat cleaning, and keeping their space tidy. Cats and small pets get the right mix of interaction, enrichment, and quiet company (on their terms). If needed, I can also stay overnight to provide extra comfort, companionship, and consistent care. I watch for any changes in mood, behavior, appetite, and I send updates and photos so you can relax while you're away. Happy pets, clean spaces, wagging tails, and purring contentment- no worries, no stress.

About: Have always had animals growing up and have continued loving to be surrounded by them, in the person that will see an animal while running errands and want to love on them. I currently have 3 kitties, 1 large breed puppy and would love to help take care of others while they are working or out of town. I am reliable and flexible! Whether just walking, dropping in to feed, water or cleaning up little boxes or messes I am willing to make you feel confident in taking the time to travel to see family or just get to work. I also willing to water plants and gather mail if needed too. Animals deserve the best! Currently have a 7.5 month old German Shepherd puppy that I take 3-5 times to the dog park in mornings and 3 cats that are just trying to survive puppy life :) My schedule is not set fully and am pretty flexible. I never want to mess up your pets routine so if my schedule doesn’t work for your pets, it is completely understandable. I will always treat your pets as I would treat my own and same with your home. I don’t want you to have to worry about others realizing your out of town so will bring in packages and try my best to make appearances so they know someone is there.
“Madison is the best I couldn’t ask for anyone better then her before the first walk with my dog Max she asked about meeting witch I thought was very nice of her being not met or talked before so I know who’s walking my pup. She has gone above and beyond helping me with him walking him and helping take care of I definitely will continue using her as long as she is available. She’s very commutative about Max and let’s me know how their walks go he is a hyper little guy and I think he’s found a new best friend with her I know he really enjoys their walks together.”

We love Ivy and so does our Brewer! Ivy is very trustworthy, reliable, and communicative! She’s a life saver as we work nights and has been a blessing in brewers routine. She’s also very accommodating in scheduling, which has been nice as this night schedule has been new to us!

Jazmyne was great with my 2 highly energetic dogs. My dogs can be anxious, but they loved her on sight and she was able to handle them well! I am so grateful for Jazmyne's help when I had a rolled ankle and wasn't able to walk them myself for several consecutive days!

Very professional and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dog sitter . He arrange a meet and greet before our appointment scheduled to get to know our dog an ask if we had any questions .. I will be using Garrett for all mine future appointments for my dog ..

Jillian has been taking my dog on walks weekly for a couple months. It’s always an easy process with her! My dog has been better on walks ever since we’ve been working with her, he pulls less and is less reactive! I appreciate her help and I’m sure my dog does too!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
