About: Hi there! I am a loving, patient dog mom who has never met a pup she didn't like! I have been a rescue dog foster for 5 years and worked with Rover since 2020 - I have cared for dozens of pets of different needs and breeds. I care for dogs with genuine love, patience and positive reinforcement! Meeting new dogs & getting to know their personality is so fun for me. Fostering requires a general love of animals, and home visits to verify you have adequate space to care for the dogs' needs. You must commit to learning about the foster, love it like your own, and communicate with potential adopters about the dogs needs/personality. The goal of fostering is to make dogs as comfortable in a new place as possible. These are all qualities I bring to the table as a pet-sitter. I have a fenced dog run with a potty area, a neighborhood park for walks and playtime, and anything a dog might need for their stay! I understand everyone wants the best possible care for their pet, and will provide a personalized, consistent pet care experience with lots of pictures and communication. Let’s make your time away a doggy vacation that is anxiety-free! I can't wait to hear about your fur baby! I am home full-time, so I have a free schedule for playing, potty breaks and exercise! Just let me know your pets schedule and needs and I will work it into my day. I have a fenced back dog run, free space to roam or a separate enclosed space if needed. About: Ive taken care of family dogs from a young age. Sizes/ attitude varying, from chihuahus to bigger dogs, ill listen if you walk them a specific way, best with one dog sometimes 2 I work full time 4days a week (monday-thursday [im off at midnight can do walks from then-3am]) if your close i offer service before work (8am-11) other than that im free! (friday-sunday) i make time for animals if emergency comes up I dont have space at my current home for dogs, so id be free to walk them, take them to a park, i can get them to their cage if needed and of course feed them and water

I usually take them out every half hour just for exercise or fun as well as potty breaks (which is a good way to break bad marking habits for ones training). If it's a nice day usually we are outside all day playing and walking teaching the ones who are still in need of guided assistance. Which actually makes things way easier on me. Unless of course it's just to hot to be out side. Rainy days are our lazy days or indoor activity days. Lots of cuddles and loves. My personal fur babies are not kenneled but I do have kennels for ones who prefer it. It's whatever makes them happiest. Or feel the safest. I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to fur babies. We read one another very well. Which in turn makes us more comfy with one another. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with one ever.i know when to back off or come in for loves. Mutal respect is the best policy I feel.

About: I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. My family dog passed away of old age (13 years) last year so I love the thought of spending time with other people’s dogs and giving them love when their families can’t be there. I currently have a golden doodle named Loki (2 years old) who lives with my friend and have taught him to sit, shake, lay down, and whisper bark! I am currently a graduate student studying speech language pathology at the University of Washington. All funds that I make through Rover go towards paying my tuition. I can dog sit anytime that is available on my calendar :) I make sure to provide lots of pictures and updates for the parents. In case anything is out of the ordinary, I always make sure to have vet information before the families leave.
