Mollay kept me up to date on when she would arrive at my house and when she left. She got great pictures of my boy and followed my instructions perfectly! She's the first one I go to for any last minute walks I need.

My old girl took an instant liking to Lauren- which is very rare, indeed! Lauren went above and beyond on her first walk for us; I am so thrilled I’ll be able to count on our “baby” being in good hands while we’re away!

About: Hi there! I am a loving, patient dog mom who has never met a pup she didn't like! I have been a rescue dog foster for 5 years and worked with Rover since 2020 - I have cared for dozens of pets of different needs and breeds. I care for dogs with genuine love, patience and positive reinforcement! Meeting new dogs & getting to know their personality is so fun for me. Fostering requires a general love of animals, and home visits to verify you have adequate space to care for the dogs' needs. You must commit to learning about the foster, love it like your own, and communicate with potential adopters about the dogs needs/personality. The goal of fostering is to make dogs as comfortable in a new place as possible. These are all qualities I bring to the table as a pet-sitter. I have a fenced dog run with a potty area, a neighborhood park for walks and playtime, and anything a dog might need for their stay! I understand everyone wants the best possible care for their pet, and will provide a personalized, consistent pet care experience with lots of pictures and communication. Let’s make your time away a doggy vacation that is anxiety-free! I can't wait to hear about your fur baby! I am home full-time, so I have a free schedule for playing, potty breaks and exercise! Just let me know your pets schedule and needs and I will work it into my day. I have a fenced back dog run, free space to roam or a separate enclosed space if needed. I am happy to accommodate your pup however you need!

About: Hi there! This account will be serviced by both me and my husband. :) We're lifelong animal lovers with years of hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages and personalities. We have two dogs and also run a small cattery, where we raise and care for cats daily, so you can trust that your furry friend is in capable and compassionate hands. Whether your pet needs a playful companion, a gentle hand for seniors, or someone who understands quirky behaviors, we offer personalized, reliable care. We're comfortable with feeding routines, medications, litter box maintenance, and handling shy or anxious pets. We also provide regular updates and adorable photos so you always feel connected while you’re away. Because we have a cattery, my days naturally revolve around caring for animals. From early morning feeding and litter box maintenance to playtime, grooming, and health checks, we are always tuned in to the needs of the pets around us. This makes it easy and seamless to integrate pet care for others into our routine. Whether it’s drop-in visits, feeding schedules, or giving a shy cat extra attention, we;re already in that mindset every day - and we're happy to give your pet the same care and dedication we give our own. We treat every pet as part of our family, whether they're staying in our home or we're visiting theirs. In our home, we provide a quiet, clean, and cat-friendly environment with plenty of space, cozy resting spots, and a calm routine. We do have dogs in our home, but they're very well-behaved and can be fully separated if needed to ensure your cat or dogs feels safe and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client's home, we focus on maintaining their normal routine to reduce stress.

Andrhu is so great with our girls! He plays so well with our social dog so that she is worn out and happy when we get home. For our shy dog, he gives gentle attention and praise, working to form a bond of trust. He was also so thoughtful to stow our Amazon delivery safely out of sight. He really is the best!

About: Available for last minute/odd schedule requests. Everything sets me apart from others because I've learned over all my yrs experience that when trust is shown trust is given. Then everything else falls into place. ***Available for last minute/odd schedule requests.*** Animals are my escape I enjoy all of them! Life would be boring without them. They bring so much happiness to me!!!l Life is just better with them in it to enjoy with us. Remember ***(Available for last minute/odd schedule requests.)*** Fur babies run the roost! I usually take them out every half hour just for exercise or fun as well as potty breaks (which is a good way to break bad marking habits for ones training). If it's a nice day usually we are outside all day playing and walking teaching the ones who are still in need of guided assistance. Which actually makes things way easier on me. Unless of course it's just to hot to be out side. Rainy days are our lazy days or indoor activity days. Lots of cuddles and loves. My personal fur babies are not kenneled but I do have kennels for ones who prefer it. It's whatever makes them happiest. Or feel the safest. I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to fur babies. We read one another very well. Which in turn makes us more comfy with one another. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with one ever.i know when to back off or come in for loves. Mutal respect is the best policy I feel.

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, horses, cows, chickens, and ducks from a very young age. For the last 13 years I have worked in the pet food industry developing a knowledge and passion for pet health, behavior and nutrition. My current work schedule is Tues-Sat, I am available for walks, potty breaks and feedings before or after my shifts. Sunday and Monday there is more flexibility in my schedule and I can do mid day drop ins or longer distance runs/walks with higher activity level pets. I would love to meet you and your pet to discuss any special needs or requirements for their care. I have a fenced yard and live in walking distance to a public park and school field that can be used before/after school hours. I prefer to work with your pet in the environment which they are most comfortable, your home. I am open to short stays at my home if that is what is best for your situation.

About: I have worked with small, exotic, and large breed species for 6 years. I have been dog sitting since high school and really enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets with different personalities. I have experience walking, bathing, and treating animals for awhile and love helping them in any way! I am new to the Tacoma area (relocated from Maryland) and currently have a very open schedule. During the week I am available to assist in anyway such as: walking, feeding and treating pets, giving baths and overall giving them new experiences. I am also available most weekends. Interested in single time visits or regular scheduled pet care! I currently have a house with two dogs and two cats, we have a privacy full fenced back yard. I also have a vehicle and would be happy to travel to dog parks or hiking areas to give them more exercise based on the environments that would be best for each individual pet. I am also happy to work with the pet in their own home or yard if that is where they are most comfortable. I am available any time during the week and most weekends. I am available for routine visits as well or single time visits, whatever is needed! I have a house with a privacy fence and two dogs that are friendly/submissive towards other animals. I am also available to visit with them in their own home if that is where they are most comfortable. I have a vehicle and would be happy to drive to any dog park or hiking area to provide more exercise in whichever environment that is best suited for the individual pet.

About: I’ve taken care of many pets for my family over the years, currently I’m helping my aunt with her high-energy border collie/german shepherd mix. I love taking dogs for walks, playing fetch, roughhousing with them, anything to get that energy out! I’m in between jobs right now and I’m looking to start college later in the fall. My schedule is very flexible and I have lots of free time. I’m good at following verbal/written instructions regarding boundaries within your home, as well as specific instructions about your pets needs. I’ll always ask the owner if I’m unsure about something.

About: Hi! I'm a huge animal lover and proud cat mom who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets. I've cared for many dogs of all sizes, whether that means going on walks, playing fetch, or just keeping them company while their families are away. I've also done plenty of drop-in visits for cats and other pets, making sure they're fed, comfortable, and getting lots of attention. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members, and I treat every pet like they're my own. Whether your pet is energetic and loves adventure or prefers cuddles and a quiet companion, I'm happy to match their needs and routine. I'd love the chance to meet your pets and help make your time away stress-free for both of you! My schedule is very flexible during the summer! During the school year, I'm available for pet visits before 7 AM and after 3 PM on weekdays. I'm also available all day on weekends. Whether your pet needs an early morning check-in, an afternoon walk, or weekend care. I'm happy to work with pet parents to find a schedule that best fits their pets' routines. I'd love to help! I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Their well-being always comes first, and I make sure they are happy, well-fed, hydrated, and getting the attention and care they need. I follow pet parents' instructions closely to maintain each pet's normal routine and provide the best possible care. Whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, or medication, I make sure every pet receives attentive, reliable care tailored to their needs. I also pay close attention to each pet's behavior and well-being. If I notice any new, unusual, or concerning behaviors, I will contact the pet parent right away so they can stay informed and involved in their pet's care. I know how important it is to know your pet is doing well while you're away, so I'm always happy to provide regular photo updates and written check-ins. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind and make sure both they and their pets have a positive, stress free experience.

  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
