About: Hi there! I am a loving, patient dog mom who has never met a pup she didn't like! I have been a rescue dog foster for 5 years and worked with Rover since 2020 - I have cared for dozens of pets of different needs and breeds. I care for dogs with genuine love, patience and positive reinforcement! Meeting new dogs & getting to know their personality is so fun for me. Fostering requires a general love of animals, and home visits to verify you have adequate space to care for the dogs' needs. You must commit to learning about the foster, love it like your own, and communicate with potential adopters about the dogs needs/personality. The goal of fostering is to make dogs as comfortable in a new place as possible. These are all qualities I bring to the table as a pet-sitter. I have a fenced dog run with a potty area, a neighborhood park for walks and playtime, and anything a dog might need for their stay! I usually take them out every half hour just for exercise or fun as well as potty breaks (which is a good way to break bad marking habits for ones training). If it's a nice day usually we are outside all day playing and walking teaching the ones who are still in need of guided assistance. Which actually makes things way easier on me. Unless of course it's just to hot to be out side. Rainy days are our lazy days or indoor activity days. Lots of cuddles and loves. My personal fur babies are not kenneled but I do have kennels for ones who prefer it. It's whatever makes them happiest. Or feel the safest. I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to fur babies. We read one another very well. Which in turn makes us more comfy with one another. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with one ever.i know when to back off or come in for loves. Mutal respect is the best policy I feel.

My current work schedule is Tues-Sat, I am available for walks, potty breaks and feedings before or after my shifts. Sunday and Monday there is more flexibility in my schedule and I can do mid day drop ins or longer distance runs/walks with higher activity level pets. I would love to meet you and your pet to discuss any special needs or requirements for their care. I have a fenced yard and live in walking distance to a public park and school field that can be used before/after school hours. I prefer to work with your pet in the environment which they are most comfortable, your home. I am open to short stays at my home if that is what is best for your situation.

About: I have worked with small, exotic, and large breed species for 6 years. I have been dog sitting since high school and really enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets with different personalities. I have experience walking, bathing, and treating animals for awhile and love helping them in any way! I am new to the Tacoma area (relocated from Maryland) and currently have a very open schedule. During the week I am available to assist in anyway such as: walking, feeding and treating pets, giving baths and overall giving them new experiences. I am also available most weekends. Interested in single time visits or regular scheduled pet care! I currently have a house with two dogs and two cats, we have a privacy full fenced back yard. I also have a vehicle and would be happy to travel to dog parks or hiking areas to give them more exercise based on the environments that would be best for each individual pet. I am also happy to work with the pet in their own home or yard if that is where they are most comfortable. I am available any time during the week and most weekends. I am available for routine visits as well or single time visits, whatever is needed! I have a house with a privacy fence and two dogs that are friendly/submissive towards other animals. About: I’ve taken care of many pets for my family over the years, currently I’m helping my aunt with her high-energy border collie/german shepherd mix.
