About: I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, horses, cows, chickens, and ducks from a very young age. For the last 13 years I have worked in the pet food industry developing a knowledge and passion for pet health, behavior and nutrition. My current work schedule is Tues-Sat, I am available for walks, potty breaks and feedings before or after my shifts. Sunday and Monday there is more flexibility in my schedule and I can do mid day drop ins or longer distance runs/walks with higher activity level pets. I would love to meet you and your pet to discuss any special needs or requirements for their care. I have a fenced yard and live in walking distance to a public park and school field that can be used before/after school hours. I prefer to work with your pet in the environment which they are most comfortable, your home. I am open to short stays at my home if that is what is best for your situation.

About: I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. My family dog passed away of old age (13 years) last year so I love the thought of spending time with other people’s dogs and giving them love when their families can’t be there. I currently have a golden doodle named Loki (2 years old) who lives with my friend and have taught him to sit, shake, lay down, and whisper bark! I am currently a graduate student studying speech language pathology at the University of Washington. All funds that I make through Rover go towards paying my tuition. I can dog sit anytime that is available on my calendar :) I make sure to provide lots of pictures and updates for the parents. In case anything is out of the ordinary, I always make sure to have vet information before the families leave.

I have been a rescue dog foster for 5 years and worked with Rover since 2020 - I have cared for dozens of pets of different needs and breeds. I care for dogs with genuine love, patience and positive reinforcement! Meeting new dogs & getting to know their personality is so fun for me. Fostering requires a general love of animals, and home visits to verify you have adequate space to care for the dogs' needs. You must commit to learning about the foster, love it like your own, and communicate with potential adopters about the dogs needs/personality. The goal of fostering is to make dogs as comfortable in a new place as possible. These are all qualities I bring to the table as a pet-sitter. I have a fenced dog run with a potty area, a neighborhood park for walks and playtime, and anything a dog might need for their stay! I understand everyone wants the best possible care for their pet, and will provide a personalized, consistent pet care experience with lots of pictures and communication. About: I’ve grown up having dogs around me at all times. I currently have 3 of my own fur babies, and while they’re definitely a handful (or pawful), I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love playing, walking, and just spending time with pets and I can’t wait to be able to treat your animals like my own! During my services, I always make sure to include at least three pictures of your pets when I stop by, I know how long a day can feel without seeing your animals. My main goal is to make sure you and your pet(s) are satisfied with the services I provide because I know just how important our furry friends are to all of us and our families! I also have experience with bird, rodent, small reptile and amphibian care! I’m happy to watch any and all types of our animal family members while you’re away ! I have been in love working with animals since my first Girl Scout visit to an animal shelter in 3rd grade. I currently have five rescues of my own (two dogs, two cats, and a beardie) and I would to meet and help provide care for your fur babies as well! I make sure to provide the same quality of care to your pet as you would. They are our extra, furry family members and deserve to be treated as such, especially when they are excited and waiting to see their people!

About: I have worked with small, exotic, and large breed species for 6 years. I have been dog sitting since high school and really enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets with different personalities. I have experience walking, bathing, and treating animals for awhile and love helping them in any way! I am new to the Tacoma area (relocated from Maryland) and currently have a very open schedule. During the week I am available to assist in anyway such as: walking, feeding and treating pets, giving baths and overall giving them new experiences. I am also available most weekends. Interested in single time visits or regular scheduled pet care! I currently have a house with two dogs and two cats, we have a privacy full fenced back yard. I also have a vehicle and would be happy to travel to dog parks or hiking areas to give them more exercise based on the environments that would be best for each individual pet. I am also happy to work with the pet in their own home or yard if that is where they are most comfortable. I am available any time during the week and most weekends. I am available for routine visits as well or single time visits, whatever is needed! I have a house with a privacy fence and two dogs that are friendly/submissive towards other animals. I am also available to visit with them in their own home if that is where they are most comfortable. I have a vehicle and would be happy to drive to any dog park or hiking area to provide more exercise in whichever environment that is best suited for the individual pet.

About: My experience with dog covers just about all fields there are. I spent 10+ years showing herding breeds in showmanship and obedience, often at the state level. This included all the required grooming and handling skills that comes with performing at a pro level. I also trained lessons at 4-H clubs once a week for 5 years. I helped teach kids how to teach their dogs and during that time I worked with dogs big and small. Fear aggressive and wild lab puppies. I continued my training at a local boarding facility where Ive been exposed to even more unique dogs. This facility specialized in dogs that needed special care or more technical help than regular boarding places could provide. Food aggressive malinois, elderly pitbulls that have specific medical needs and anxious poodles are all just a regular Tuesday for me. I'm always looking for a new experiences and a challenge! My goal is flexibility! Any day of the week, morning and night, I'm available. My work day starts late enough in the day for most if not all morning activities and I'm off perfectly on time for afternoon walkies. I've house sat for dozens of times. In my 10+ years of connection with 4-H, I've watched many members pets over the years. This included more unique animals like reptiles and birds all the way to a guinea pig barn. My goal is to keep everything as in routine as possible. Pets are already anxious when their parents leave so doing everything just like you do helps minimize any added stress. No such thing as too much information!

About: We have both taken care of pets since we were young! I (Alexa) have grown up with furry friends my whole life, and I LOVE all animals (though I do have a soft spot for dogs). Connor has grown up with pets his whole life as well. We’ve pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors before, with all kinds of critters. Alexa has experience volunteering at local animal shelters, and has had the pleasure of listening to Lee Asher speak in person. We are also currently the owners of a small dog, a big dog, and a very mischievous cat. We are both very well equipped to care for animals anywhere from a mouse to a horse. Your babies are in wonderful hands with us. I (Alexa) currently work as an EMT, which means I work only 7-8 days per month. That leaves plenty of time to go wherever duty calls! Connor gets his work schedule week by week, but normally has Fridays and Saturdays off. We are willing to house/pet sit for you, walk your animals, and do daily checkups for you as well. In a clients home, we will respect your space and only do what is necessary. You can count on us to make sure your furry friend has all that they need while you are gone, in the safety and security of your own home.

About: I've worked at kennels before, I have a special needs dog, I get along with all dogs, I've taught my dogs to sit and stay in sign language. I can feed, walk, play with, and medicate dogs. I even used to sleep with my Pixie because she has epilepsy and I could wake up and medicate her during her seizures. I would walk my dogs every day with a backpack full of treats, doggy bags, and water. I took ASL for 2 years in high school, so I can communicate with deaf customers and deaf doggies. I'm a bit out of practice, but I can definitely get by in a conversation. I love all furry and four legged creatures and I hope to be walking yours! I'm currently mom to 3 cats (and one gecko). I've been a cat owner since childhood and have had dogs in the past as well as experience working in kennels. Pet care is my life. I love my furry kids and I'd love to work with yours. I'm very available and flexible for your pets needs. I'm widely available right now and would love to fill my spare time with caring for pets, whether it is walks, drop ins, or an overnight. I should be able to adapt to most requests and understand life can get weird, so I accept same day bookings or same day cancellations at least for walks and drop ins, should also be fine for overnights. I don't think I've met a fur baby I can't make friends with and every booking or request from a friend has been an absolute joy. I promise they'll be well loved in my care.
