About: Hi there! I am a loving, patient dog mom who has never met a pup she didn't like! I have been a rescue dog foster for 5 years and worked with Rover since 2020 - I have cared for dozens of pets of different needs and breeds. I care for dogs with genuine love, patience and positive reinforcement! Meeting new dogs & getting to know their personality is so fun for me. Fostering requires a general love of animals, and home visits to verify you have adequate space to care for the dogs' needs. You must commit to learning about the foster, love it like your own, and communicate with potential adopters about the dogs needs/personality. The goal of fostering is to make dogs as comfortable in a new place as possible. These are all qualities I bring to the table as a pet-sitter. I have a fenced dog run with a potty area, a neighborhood park for walks and playtime, and anything a dog might need for their stay! About: I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. My family dog passed away of old age (13 years) last year so I love the thought of spending time with other people’s dogs and giving them love when their families can’t be there. I currently have a golden doodle named Loki (2 years old) who lives with my friend and have taught him to sit, shake, lay down, and whisper bark! I am currently a graduate student studying speech language pathology at the University of Washington. All funds that I make through Rover go towards paying my tuition. I can dog sit anytime that is available on my calendar :) I make sure to provide lots of pictures and updates for the parents. In case anything is out of the ordinary, I always make sure to have vet information before the families leave.

Unless of course it's just to hot to be out side. Rainy days are our lazy days or indoor activity days. Lots of cuddles and loves. My personal fur babies are not kenneled but I do have kennels for ones who prefer it. It's whatever makes them happiest. Or feel the safest. I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to fur babies. We read one another very well. Which in turn makes us more comfy with one another. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with one ever.i know when to back off or come in for loves. Mutal respect is the best policy I feel.

About: I’ve grown up having dogs around me at all times. I currently have 3 of my own fur babies, and while they’re definitely a handful (or pawful), I wouldn’t have it any other way.
