“Our dog had a great time at Val's place! Before I dropped Dash off, I could tell that Val was conscientious and organized - she asked good questions about Dash during the meet and greet, had contingency plans in case things went wrong, and let me meet some of the other dogs staying with her. She has a nice fenced yard area for dogs to play in, including some shade and structures for dogs to run over/through. During his stay, Val sent us pictures and video of Dash playing with other dogs and even a cat! (We gave her permission to see how Dash did with cats, since we don't have any). He came back tired and healthy. All in all, we are happy and will be asking Val to take care of Dash again.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs almost every week on the weekends along with sitting for my neighborhood dogs, cats, birds and guinea pigs while they are on vacation or away from their home. I am comfortable feeding dogs, interacting with them and I love to give lots of love. I am familiar with giving medication’s to dogs if needed. Your animal will be in good hands as I will love them as my own. Whatever an owner needs for them and their dogs to be well cared for, I can accommodate. I work from home, so the dog will always be accompanied with me. we’ll have plenty of playtime, outside time and potty breaks. I provide at least 2 walks a day and several Potty breaks from 7 am up until 10 Pm. I have a fenced yard where they can play as they like and they can hang out inside as well. I am very interactive with the dogs and love to send pictures.

During the week I have a handful of regular clients that occupy my time typically from 10 am to 2 pm. I am always 30 minutes or less from my home and even during house sitting stays, I am coming home to check in on and provide company to my own two pups. They're never alone for more than four hours. Currently, my family is growing, and my house sits will be on a temporary hiatus as my husband and I adjust to having a tiny human in the house. My home has a moderate size yard that is fully fenced. I also have a doggy door that leads to the backyard for full access when someone is home. As I have cats and small caged critters, I do prefer boarding stays to be crate trained. My own dogs are crate trained and absolutely love their "box." It is their safe space for when life or other dogs becoming too overwhelming. In my experience, I have found that bringing your dog's crate (along with some beds and blankets) helps your dog have their own safe space to relax or retreat to when needed. It also keeps everyone safe while I am out tending to regular walking clients. When house sitting I try my best to keep to your dog's typical routine. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Crate when leaving, or close bedroom doors. Walks around the neighborhood or play in the backyard. Not allowed on furniture, sleeping in bed with you, etc. Please let me know what your furry friend is accustomed to! Please keep in mind that I will not be able to stay in your home 24/7 as I have regular clients during the week that I need to walk. I will be able to stay in your home through the entire night with regular afternoon potty breaks.

She quickly took my dog in and watched that she didn't exercise much (she just had surgery). I know that Marilyn watched her because with the other Rover, my dog would come back limping indicating to me that she was exercising too much. With Marilyn, she did not limp after picking her up. I would book her more often if the location was closer!”
About: Hello! I grew up taking care of mostly dogs in my house until finally was able to get my own dog 6 years ago. I've experienced other people who love animals but I feel like I have a connection to dogs that beats out others, I can read a dogs vibe and match it pretty well. Currently take care of 2 mid-large sized dogs and 3 cats. Love it all! Also love taking pictures of dogs so I’ll make sure to get some model shots :) I recently got out of the Navy after 8 yrs and I am currently not working so I have all day to play with pets. I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to fur babies. We read one another very well. Which in turn makes us more comfy with one another. About: I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. My family dog passed away of old age (13 years) last year so I love the thought of spending time with other people’s dogs and giving them love when their families can’t be there. I currently have a golden doodle named Loki (2 years old) who lives with my friend and have taught him to sit, shake, lay down, and whisper bark! I am currently a graduate student studying speech language pathology at the University of Washington. All funds that I make through Rover go towards paying my tuition. I can dog sit anytime that is available on my calendar :) I make sure to provide lots of pictures and updates for the parents. About: Hi! I’ve been dog sitting on and off for the past two years and have grown up around dogs my whole life. I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I provide services such as dog sitting, drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I do my best to follow routines closely and provide care that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I currently have a nine-year-old Lab/Beagle mix named Lucy, who is still very high energy, so I’m comfortable caring for active dogs and pets with different temperaments. Growing up with dogs and having pet-sitting experience has taught me how important patience, consistency, and trust are when caring for animals. My availability is currently completely open, as I’m home from college for the summer. I’m not working full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care and quality time with your pets. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and my goal is always to provide dependable care so both you and your pet feel comfortable and cared for! I am currently home from college, so I have lots of free time during the day and nights! I love taking care and hanging out with pets! I grew up with a very high energy dog, as well as aggressive dogs in the family. I know how to handle just about any type of dog, whatever meets your needs!

About: I've worked at kennels before, I have a special needs dog, I get along with all dogs, I've taught my dogs to sit and stay in sign language. I can feed, walk, play with, and medicate dogs. I even used to sleep with my Pixie because she has epilepsy and I could wake up and medicate her during her seizures. I would walk my dogs every day with a backpack full of treats, doggy bags, and water. I took ASL for 2 years in high school, so I can communicate with deaf customers and deaf doggies. I'm a bit out of practice, but I can definitely get by in a conversation. I love all furry and four legged creatures and I hope to be walking yours! I'm currently mom to 3 cats (and one gecko). I've been a cat owner since childhood and have had dogs in the past as well as experience working in kennels. Pet care is my life. I love my furry kids and I'd love to work with yours. I'm very available and flexible for your pets needs. I'm widely available right now and would love to fill my spare time with caring for pets, whether it is walks, drop ins, or an overnight. I should be able to adapt to most requests and understand life can get weird, so I accept same day bookings or same day cancellations at least for walks and drop ins, should also be fine for overnights. I don't think I've met a fur baby I can't make friends with and every booking or request from a friend has been an absolute joy. I promise they'll be well loved in my care.

“Our dog had a great time at Val's place! Before I dropped Dash off, I could tell that Val was conscientious and organized - she asked good questions about Dash during the meet and greet, had contingency plans in case things went wrong, and let me meet some of the other dogs staying with her. She has a nice fenced yard area for dogs to play in, including some shade and structures for dogs to run over/through. During his stay, Val sent us pictures and video of Dash playing with other dogs and even a cat! (We gave her permission to see how Dash did with cats, since we don't have any). He came back tired and healthy. All in all, we are happy and will be asking Val to take care of Dash again.”
