About: I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, horses, cows, chickens, and ducks from a very young age. For the last 13 years I have worked in the pet food industry developing a knowledge and passion for pet health, behavior and nutrition. My current work schedule is Tues-Sat, I am available for walks, potty breaks and feedings before or after my shifts. Sunday and Monday there is more flexibility in my schedule and I can do mid day drop ins or longer distance runs/walks with higher activity level pets. I would love to meet you and your pet to discuss any special needs or requirements for their care. I have a fenced yard and live in walking distance to a public park and school field that can be used before/after school hours. I prefer to work with your pet in the environment which they are most comfortable, your home. I am open to short stays at my home if that is what is best for your situation.
“I was looking for someone to drop in and take care of my pup when his normal day-to-day dog walker was going to be out of town. I was very fortunate to find Katelyn. During the initial meet and greet, my dog Stone was very excited to meet Katelyn. He’s a miniature Bull terrier so he has a lot of energy and doesn’t realize his own strength. She handled him without any issues and gave him lots of “loves”. He can definitely be a handful even on walks given how strong he is, but my neighbors said that Katelyn was great with him, kept him safe, and didn’t let him get away from her lol. She sent me tons of pictures from the backyard where they were all playing together. You can definitely tell she loves animals! I would 100% recommend her to anyone needing care for their furry friends. Stone and I will continue to use her in the future.”

About: I've had pets my entire life and have walked dogs, house sat with cats, and have done drop in visits on and off for years now. I understand pet care is particular and unique and would love to relieve the burden that is worrying from afar! I am currently attending college online and will be working to help sustain my life while doing so through side work! It is self paced so I am flexible. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
