About: I have taken care of animals since I was a child including mostly dogs (big and small) and cats, but also am intrigued by other animals like reptiles, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I currently have a small dog and 2 cats of my own, but am hoping to take assist you in the care of your furry family members as well. Although I have no professional experience, my personal pet care experience includes bathing, nail trimming, brushing/deshedding, feeding (and putting medication in cheese), and most importantly playing with dogs and cats. I have also trained my current and prior dogs basic commands via treat/praise methods. I currently have availability to care for your furry family members on weekends and some weekdays/nights, as I do have other employment. I am not available for overnight boarding services. I am available for walks or care from your home. I am currently not taking clients that require boarding in my home. I am available to provide play, walks, cuddles, and feedings as needed to stimulate your furry friends until your return.

My schedule is based on where I am that day or what other gigs I have going on. About: I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, horses, cows, chickens, and ducks from a very young age. For the last 13 years I have worked in the pet food industry developing a knowledge and passion for pet health, behavior and nutrition. My current work schedule is Tues-Sat, I am available for walks, potty breaks and feedings before or after my shifts. Sunday and Monday there is more flexibility in my schedule and I can do mid day drop ins or longer distance runs/walks with higher activity level pets. I would love to meet you and your pet to discuss any special needs or requirements for their care. I have a fenced yard and live in walking distance to a public park and school field that can be used before/after school hours. I prefer to work with your pet in the environment which they are most comfortable, your home. I am open to short stays at my home if that is what is best for your situation.

About: I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. My family dog passed away of old age (13 years) last year so I love the thought of spending time with other people’s dogs and giving them love when their families can’t be there. I currently have a golden doodle named Loki (2 years old) who lives with my friend and have taught him to sit, shake, lay down, and whisper bark! I am currently a graduate student studying speech language pathology at the University of Washington. All funds that I make through Rover go towards paying my tuition. I can dog sit anytime that is available on my calendar :) I make sure to provide lots of pictures and updates for the parents. In case anything is out of the ordinary, I always make sure to have vet information before the families leave.

Bre rooked really good care of our kitties. Even though it was a last minute request, she accommodated setting up a last minute meet n greet and looking after my kitties. Alyssa saved the day! We had accidentally left a gate closed in the house and our cats couldn't access the litterbox upstairs. She lives nearby us and was able to be to our house so quickly and also gave our kitties some loving ❤️ very trustworthy and will absolutely use her again!

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
