“This was my first time booking with Diahann and not only was my baby treated like family, he was given opportunities to choose an open kennel, soft blanket, or comfy bed to safely rest his little head on during the day. The peace of mind was amazing when seeing Sterno in so many adorable pics, as well as how kind Diahann's granddaughter treated my baby as they played fetch in a wonderful video I received early on in his stay. Sterno is very active and playful, and I couldn't have requested a better sitter for him!! Diahann truly cares like it's her own dog. There are cameras, a huge yard, and Sterno was very calm during pickup, which showcased how comfortable he had been. I am adding that Diahann was very responsive to a suggested video meet, and proceeded to give a wonderful tour of her Dog-friendly and dog-safe home before Sterno's drop off date. She is thoughtful like that. You will love her too! Thank you for this caring dog-sitting experience Diahann! I will def book again!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs almost every week on the weekends along with sitting for my neighborhood dogs, cats, birds and guinea pigs while they are on vacation or away from their home. I am comfortable feeding dogs, interacting with them and I love to give lots of love. I am familiar with giving medication’s to dogs if needed. Your animal will be in good hands as I will love them as my own. Whatever an owner needs for them and their dogs to be well cared for, I can accommodate. I work from home, so the dog will always be accompanied with me. we’ll have plenty of playtime, outside time and potty breaks. I provide at least 2 walks a day and several Potty breaks from 7 am up until 10 Pm. I have a fenced yard where they can play as they like and they can hang out inside as well. During the week I have a handful of regular clients that occupy my time typically from 10 am to 2 pm. My weekends are mostly free and I am home every evening unless house sitting - in that case, my husband is home every evening from 6 pm to 7:30 am. I am always 30 minutes or less from my home and even during house sitting stays, I am coming home to check in on and provide company to my own two pups. They're never alone for more than four hours. Currently, my family is growing, and my house sits will be on a temporary hiatus as my husband and I adjust to having a tiny human in the house. My home has a moderate size yard that is fully fenced. I also have a doggy door that leads to the backyard for full access when someone is home. As I have cats and small caged critters, I do prefer boarding stays to be crate trained. My own dogs are crate trained and absolutely love their "box." It is their safe space for when life or other dogs becoming too overwhelming. In my experience, I have found that bringing your dog's crate (along with some beds and blankets) helps your dog have their own safe space to relax or retreat to when needed. It also keeps everyone safe while I am out tending to regular walking clients. When house sitting I try my best to keep to your dog's typical routine. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Crate when leaving, or close bedroom doors. Walks around the neighborhood or play in the backyard. Not allowed on furniture, sleeping in bed with you, etc. Please let me know what your furry friend is accustomed to! Please keep in mind that I will not be able to stay in your home 24/7 as I have regular clients during the week that I need to walk. I will be able to stay in your home through the entire night with regular afternoon potty breaks.
“Leslie took care of my dogs for several years, and I can't recommend her highly enough. My current dog clearly enjoys going there and seeing Leslie, as well as all of his other furry friends who live with her or also come there for daycare. He obviously feels very safe there, and whether he is going there just for the day or staying for several nights, he is always very well taken care of. My two previous dogs, both of whom eventually passed away from cancer, also obviously enjoyed going there and were also very well taken care of. When they were undergoing their cancer treatments, Leslie treated them with great compassion. In addition to being very flexible with scheduling, and Leslie is also very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Your dogs will be very safe and happy in Leslie's care.”
About: Hello! I grew up taking care of mostly dogs in my house until finally was able to get my own dog 6 years ago. I've experienced other people who love animals but I feel like I have a connection to dogs that beats out others, I can read a dogs vibe and match it pretty well. Currently take care of 2 mid-large sized dogs and 3 cats. Love it all! Also love taking pictures of dogs so I’ll make sure to get some model shots :) I recently got out of the Navy after 8 yrs and I am currently not working so I have all day to play with pets. I am go with the flow in whatever and whenever your animal needs to eat and go potty and play/train. My family dog passed away of old age (13 years) last year so I love the thought of spending time with other people’s dogs and giving them love when their families can’t be there. About: I've worked at kennels before, I have a special needs dog, I get along with all dogs, I've taught my dogs to sit and stay in sign language. I can feed, walk, play with, and medicate dogs. I even used to sleep with my Pixie because she has epilepsy and I could wake up and medicate her during her seizures. I would walk my dogs every day with a backpack full of treats, doggy bags, and water. I took ASL for 2 years in high school, so I can communicate with deaf customers and deaf doggies. I usually take them out every half hour just for exercise or fun as well as potty breaks (which is a good way to break bad marking habits for ones training). If it's a nice day usually we are outside all day playing and walking teaching the ones who are still in need of guided assistance. Which actually makes things way easier on me. Unless of course it's just to hot to be out side. Rainy days are our lazy days or indoor activity days. Lots of cuddles and loves. My personal fur babies are not kenneled but I do have kennels for ones who prefer it. It's whatever makes them happiest. Or feel the safest. I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to fur babies. We read one another very well. Which in turn makes us more comfy with one another. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with one ever.i know when to back off or come in for loves. Mutal respect is the best policy I feel.

Until then, I have total flexibility to stick to your specific routine and provide plenty of companionship for your "babies." I provide care exclusively in the client's home, as I do not offer boarding in my own home at this time. This allows your pets to stay in their own comfortable, familiar environment while you are away. When I am in your home, I treat it with the same respect I give my own. I prioritize a "safety-first" environment by doing a quick sweep for anything your pet shouldn't get into and making sure all doors and gates are secure. I am very diligent about leashes and harnesses during walks to prevent any accidents. I believe trust is built through communication.
