Andrhu is such a wonderful walker for our family, our girls really see him as a friend and playmate. He is so caring and really keeps our girls happiness and safety in the forefront if each visit. We feel such comfort knowing they are safe with him and that they have a great time playing, exploring and getting the daily stimulation we can't always provide when we are working

About: I have had a lifelong passion for animals and experience caring for both dogs and cats. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, from miniature dachshunds to Saint Bernards, and I am comfortable with pets of different ages, personalities, and care needs. Throughout the years, I have helped family, friends, and neighbors care for their pets, including week-long pet-sitting assignments where I was responsible for feeding, walking, administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, and providing companionship and attention. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or requires special care and medication, I am committed to providing reliable, attentive, and compassionate care. As a pet caregiver, I treat every animal as if they were my own and work hard to ensure both pets and owners have peace of mind while they're apart. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide pets with the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering medication, or simply spending quality time with them, I make sure each pet receives personalized care. I am committed to maintaining your pet’s regular routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding schedules, medication requirements, exercise routines, and any special needs. I take the time to build trust with each pet and create a calm, positive environment where they feel safe and cared for. I provide attentive supervision, plenty of affection, and regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I work from home & look for any excuse to get out & touch some grass! I enjoy taking my two dogs on walks & would be quite keen on taking others too! I have significant availability during the day as I am permitted to take my break when desired throughout the work day! I often go on walks with my two dogs but can also take yours, too! Separate or together! I keep to the shade & will only walk dogs as long as they display signs of needing it. Especially in this current heat, I know that my dogs can only stand a solid 10-15 minute walk themselves.

After that, she got some really cute pictures! When she made it back to my house, she even watered my plants and said hello to my rabbit for me! What a great experience all around. She is my go to!

I have experience walking dogs with special needs from blind and deaf to needing a wheelchair. If you listen to the dog you'll get all the information you need to take care of them. I have open availability since I make my own schedule so I can walk almost any time. If you are in a bind I am a reliable pet loving person. I'll take care of your fur baby as if they were mine. There's nothing like a nice walk in the park with a friend by your side. Another great walk with Paul! I genuinely can’t believe how quickly he was able to build rapport with our dog Luna and get her to walk with him. She settled down very quickly and even listened to his commands. He clearly knows how to handle big dogs with quirks!! Very much appreciate his responsiveness, flexibility, and calmness.

About: I have worked with small, exotic, and large breed species for 6 years. I have been dog sitting since high school and really enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets with different personalities. I have experience walking, bathing, and treating animals for awhile and love helping them in any way! I am new to the Tacoma area (relocated from Maryland) and currently have a very open schedule. During the week I am available to assist in anyway such as: walking, feeding and treating pets, giving baths and overall giving them new experiences. I am also available most weekends. Interested in single time visits or regular scheduled pet care! I currently have a house with two dogs and two cats, we have a privacy full fenced back yard. I also have a vehicle and would be happy to travel to dog parks or hiking areas to give them more exercise based on the environments that would be best for each individual pet. I am also happy to work with the pet in their own home or yard if that is where they are most comfortable. I am available any time during the week and most weekends. I am available for routine visits as well or single time visits, whatever is needed! I have a house with a privacy fence and two dogs that are friendly/submissive towards other animals. I am also available to visit with them in their own home if that is where they are most comfortable. I have a vehicle and would be happy to drive to any dog park or hiking area to provide more exercise in whichever environment that is best suited for the individual pet.

About: My older brother has 2 dogs of which he would bring over to my place when we lived closer. I would take care of the dogs in feeding them, walking them, and providing medication as needed from the vet! I dog sit my friend's 1 year old dog and my roommates 2-year-old poodle when they need me. I am on call and available every day since I am currently unemployed at the moment. I've trained my friend's dog to learn "hug" "shake" "kiss" or "besito" in exchange for treats. I am not a professional trainer but sometimes they can listen when they want to! I respect the rules and schedules of pet owners towards their pets. I am currently an unemployed veteran, recently separated from the military. I would be able to make my schedule flexible for the needs of your pet’s happiness and yours! I am mainly available Monday-Friday all day. Weekends can be negotiable! I am here to make your schedule work! I can be on call/stand by for same day pet sitting, walking and more! I rent a room in a house in Tacoma, WA. If you need to drop off your pets with me I will have to talk to the landlord and see if what we can do. There is a poodle that lives here as the only other pet. My place is warm, cozy, and welcoming! If your baby needs something to make them more comfortable I will also accommodate for their happiness!

About: I have had a dog since I was born. Going on walks with my pup is the best part of my day. I know first hand how stressful it can be to leave your furry friend in the hands of someone else but I promise I will love them like their my own 💕 I usually mimic their routine at home as I’ve found that helps them acclimate to the new environment. This includes if they are allowed on furniture, meal & walk times, treats and toys. I always recommend bringing their favorite toys, bed, water & food bowl, food, poop bags and any treats. I look forward to caring for your doggie! I work from home and can give the pup potty breaks frequently and of course lots of cuddles. I can help anytime during the days and am happy to have your dog with me if you want to travel. I provide dog boarding exclusively in my home, where your pet will receive attentive care in a safe and loving environment. My home is set up with a fully fenced backyard, perfect for supervised play and exercise. I prioritize each dog’s comfort, ensuring they have plenty of opportunities for breaks, cuddles, and play throughout the day.

There is not much more I can say about Alyssa that I already have. She is very caring. My fur baby Myka sits and waits by the door on the days she knows she is coming. Alyssa always gets down to Myka’s level and gives her plenty of love before they start their walk. Alyssa always keeps me informed about what Myka does on their walks. She is very conscientious about letting me know about arrival time and changes in schedule. She is extremely pleasant and helpful. We have been blessed to have her in our lives and hope she never leaves.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
