About: My whole life Ive consistently been surrounded by all kinda of furry friends from dogs, cats, birds and rodents . Having worked in a doggy daycare I’m especially comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. Family and neighbors have always entrusted me to walk, clean, play and feed pets and even administer medications to their pets. With my current work schedule I’m available mostly in the morning anytime before noon for dog walkings. In the evenings I’m usually available anytime after 7:30. In your home I will ensure to keep a safe and clean environment for for pet. I will feed your pets using times and instructions recommended by owners. I can administer any required medication. I will also be sure to give lots of attention and play time to your fur baby as I would if they were my own
“Maria was WONDERFUL! Although we were a little hesitant trying out Rover for the first time, Maria made us feel like our babies were in great hands the entire time we were away. Couldn’t recommend enough!”

“Kelly was easy to work with and was able to handle my uncertain traveling dates. Much appreciated! She took great care of the cats and kept them entertained.”

“Brooklyn was great! She dropped in multiple times a day to take care of my ducks and aging cat while I was away. She’s responsive, sweet, and left detailed report cards. I definitely plan to work with Brooklyn again in the future :)”

“Stephanie has been doing walk ins with my Boxer puppy and my Belgian Shepherd for a couple of months now - 3 days a week. She has gone above and beyond to make their experience positive - buying them a special toy to play with while she is there, picking up puppy wipes, bringing treats, quick to respond to me via text, respectful of my home, and being flexible with her schedule. My dogs are thrilled when she arrives and Stephanie has given me peace of mind when I am at work knowing the puppy is getting her time out of the crate that I am otherwise unable to provide her. Stephanie was not my first sitter on Rover, and she was brought in to cover a transition between sitters. I was thrilled to have her continue on once I realized how reliable and thoughtful she is.”

“10/10 would recommend & rebook. Megan was really great with our fur babies as well as keeping us informed while we were away. We forgot to leave the TV on for our pets and she remembered our conversation during our initial meeting, and turned on the TV for them. The peace of mind and care she provided was everything we could have asked for.”

“Andrhu was so kind and flexible. When access to the house was unavailable, at my poor planning, he was incredibly understanding and accommodating. It is more appreciated than he may know. He was very thorough as well during his drop in visits for our 2 pups.”

“Very diligently took notes during the initial home walkthrough, very communicative during each of her visits with the kitties. Overall, a stellar pet-sitting experience and will absolutely be booking her in the future.”

“Paul was clutch in every sense of the word. 🫶 We were in a bit of a scramble after our original sitter fell through last-minute, and Paul came through like a legend. We had a wedding to attend and needed someone to check in on our fur kids (Nala, Zeus, Tank, and Milo) — and he totally nailed it. From the jump, he was super chill, responsive, and just on it. Asked all the right questions, followed instructions to a T, and kept us updated with messages that made us feel way less guilty for stepping away from our lovable little velvet hippos for the day. 😅 Our kids are generally friendly, but let’s be real — a pack of bullies charging at you with full gremlin energy can be a lot. Paul didn’t even flinch. Handled it like an absolute pro, and had them vibing with him almost instantly. We could tell they were in great hands — cared for, played with, and probably a little spoiled (as they should be). Honestly, Paul is the kind of sitter that makes you feel like you hit the Rover jackpot.✨Reliable, good vibes, and clearly great with animals. 1000% would book again. Thank you, Paul, for stepping up and showing our kids mad love. You’re officially part of our bully gang now. 🐾💯”

About: I have had many dogs and taken of care many. All sizes and types. I absolutely love animals and take great care of them. I can follow any instructions you may have. They will be loved as if they were my own. We will have plenty activities to do and if they're not to active of a dog then they're more than welcome to just sit and watch tv with me! Dogs aren't just pets, they're family. For dog walking/house sitting I like to let the dogs have plenty of outside time and let them explore (supervised) and play! We have an acre of backyard(fenced) for them to run and play! I only work nights and my husband stays home with our 2 year old so someone is always home to give the dogs attention! In the morning after breakfast we usually play in the back yard for a while, and then my dogs like to relax inside after before I go to work. Then they usually wander outside with my husband and two year old walking the yard and playing ball. I have a fenced yard, and very friendly dogs with tons of energy to play! In my clients home I’m very respectful and clean. I’ll always treat your pups as if they’re my own.
“Susan was a great sitter for my two cats when I went on a week vacation. She took great care of them and gave them plenty of love when I was away. I enjoyed receiving lots of pictures of them each day and updates.”

“Brianna was wonderful looking in our puppy while we were at work. Great communication and positive person. We would definitely recommend and look forward to working with her in the future”

“I needed a sitter last minute for my pups for SBLX Sunday & Haylee accepted my request right away! We discussed the details on the phone prior to her visit with them. She sent me pics of how relaxed & happy they were!. 💖🐶🐶🐶💖 I will definitely have her over for future visits!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Waller. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
