About: I took care of my mother’s dog while she was away at work. I now live with 3 dogs and while my roommates are busy with work, I make sure their pets’ needs are met as I have a flexible schedule I have a part-time janitorial job at multiple mental health facilities. I have a great amount of time on my hands in between morning and evening shifts. About: I have been helping care for dogs my whole life. By now I’m an expert at walking, feeding, nail maintenance, socializing, giving medications, bathing, potty training, and more! I work a full time job 6am-2:30pm on weekdays but am available all weekdays after 3pm and through the weekend! I don’t make a lot of plans after work, if any, so afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends are covered! I have 3 cats (RIP Pearl) and a bunny. There are also 2 puppies in the house as well who are very sweet, gentle, and love to socialize. I have 2 extra rooms to keep pets separated if needed, I can socialize your dog/pet with cats, puppies, or even the bunny with supervision and care, or keep our animals out of the way if your pet needs more space. I also have a fenced in yard and live in a cul de sac which is great for walks! All of my pets have needed different types of meds at some point so I could do that in my sleep LOL. In a client’s home is where your pet would feel most comfortable so I am more than happy to come care for your pet in their safe space. I take notes and set alarms so I never miss a step in care and I don’t have to ask a million questions. Pets’ happiness and comfort are my top priorities! And I would never feel comfortable overstepping any boundaries in a client’s home. I will stick to the necessary areas for the pet and give them all of my attention. Alexis did a great job! Our cats and chickens are used to a daily routine and showing up when requested is important - this has not always happened in the past through Rover. She also did everything on our sheet of detailed instructions for her 3 daily visits. She communicated well and was quickly responsive - and did some extras that were not on the sheet - thank you!
