I really don't know what I would do without Alexis, she is simply the best. She takes the best care of my kitty boys so I can travel without worry or fear that they won't get the best care.

Alexis does a great job watching our cats. She is reliable and always does what I ask her to do!! We are so appreciative of her!!

Took good care of the house and kids

One item of concern was the presumed amount of time that the dogs were left in their crates. From our understanding, they were in their crates at bed time (which is fine), but then there were also periods between 7-8 hours during the day that they were left alone and likely in their crates as well (per security system). I understand that it says they need bathroom breaks every 4-8 hours and we said during our meeting that they would be fine in their crates for up to 8 hours, but we felt that a combination of being in there for bed time AND being locked up for an additional 7-8 hours was a little much. Our hope and discussion during our meeting was that you would be there to spend time with them so that they didn’t need to spend large amounts of time in their crates, but maybe that wasn’t conveyed clearly. The other item of concern was that there was another individual at the house that we did not know. We understand that people have personal lives and relationships, but it was never asked if this would be ok. We would have been fine with it, but if you’re housesitting and dog sitting as a team, we would have liked to have known and had a chance to meet this other person, just as we met Alexis. The largest piece of this is that this other individual was left alone in our house on two occasions. This was absolutely not acceptable. You may be comfortable with them and trust them, but we met and hired Alexis for the job, not them. This was essentially just letting a stranger into our home with our pets. We don’t feel like she did any of this maliciously, but we did want to tell her our concerns so that we can both learn from it and make our next experiences better. We hoped to have sent this as a private message to Alexis, but were blocked from any communication after we cancelled our future bookings.
