I'm available to visit your pet(s) any day of the week between 6:30am and 10:00am and between 3:30pm and 9:00pm for drop-in visits. I have full availability between 6:30am and 9:00pm on weekends and holidays. I can usually do two visits per day, sometimes three on weekends or holidays. I'm a working professional with the ability to flex my schedule, but some weekdays I have professional appointments that limit my ability to visit your companion(s) between 10:00am and 3:30pm.

I adjust the care I give to the animal's specific personality and health requirements. When first meeting your companion, I will go slowly and watch for signs of fear or aggression before moving further. I do not initiate touch with other people's pets, and I am familiar with pets that are anxious or sometimes aggressive. They still deserve the love and care that a friendlier pet deserves, and I don't judge worth based on personality or demeanor. I respect your pet's autonomy and boundaries. For cats, I can feed your cat as often as you would like, and I take care of the litter box at least once per drop-in. If your cat(s) uses the litter box again while I am there, I take care of it again before I leave. I will play with and pet your cat as much as they would like. I can brush cats and give any medications as necessary. For dogs, I can feed your dog as often as you would like, and I can take them out for a walk as often as you would like as well. Depending on your dog and your neighborhood, I can walk various distances. I will play with and pet your dog as much as they would like, including going out with them in your yard if you have one. I can brush dogs and can give them certain medications as necessary. I do not give dogs pills by mouth.

Tell me ahead of time if your companion has special medical needs, including if they have any illnesses that require quarantine from other animals. I have two cats at home, so it's important to keep them and your pet safe! I have experience reducing cross-contamination between animals, so just let me know ahead of time so I can prepare properly!

I love to play with your pets! If you have a cat, leave out their favorite toys or puzzles and let me know how they like to play (or I'll take time to figure it out myself). If they know tricks, I'll happily practice them with them for some mental enrichment! (My cats know "sit" and "spin" for example!) If you have a dog, I enjoy putting together enrichment activities like puzzles, snuffle toys/mats, or long walks with lots of funky smells. I volunteer with a local animal shelter doing dog walking and enrichment, so I love trying to find something to keep your dog mentally and physically satiated.

Ready to Give Your Pet Some TLC
Expérience en matière de services dédiés aux animaux de compagnie
Over the last five years, I have almost always had my own cats (as many as four at a time) and have watched my friends' cats multiple times. I have raised and watched cats of all ages from kitten to senior, and I have experience balancing homes with overweight cats on diets or multi-cat homes with cats on differing diets. I am familiar with cats with special medical or behavioral issues. One of my cats has feline asthma, and I am comfortable (if you are) with giving your cat their inhaler as needed/prescribed. I have a personal understanding of how scary it can be to leave any pet but especially a pet with complex medical needs. If you're concerned about how much care your pet needs, please reach out because I might be your gal! As a teenager and young adult, I lived with dogs that were not mine. I was proactively involved in taking care of those dogs, and I have occasionally watched dogs of family and friends. I am primarily experienced with small and medium sized dogs ages 6 months to 12 years old. As of January 2026, I am not currently accepting bookings for dogs.

Kayleigh did an amazing job of taking care of my Vivi while I was out of town. She spent so much time with her and made sure she had food, drink and a clean litter box with each visit. I recommend her for new cat mamas who are going out of town and leaving their cats alone for the first time! She worked hard to get Vivi to warm up, and I appreciate her so much!
This was our first experience leaving our beloved calico, Macy, with a non-family member during a trip. We're so happy it was with Kayleigh. Our normally reserved cat greeted her at our first meeting with ankle rubs, as if she were a family member! Kayleigh kept in touch every day sending several pictures, and she even took care of the ants who invaded Macy's food bowl! We'd be very happy to have her help again on our next trip.

This is our second time booking with Kayleigh, she is always extremely communicative and does a great job taking care of our kitties! She is also super adaptable to our car’s unique needs and quirks!

Kayleigh was a lifesaver! She was great with our cat and made sure Mila was well cared for.
