I'm confident around pets of all dispositions--shy, reactive, excitable, anxious, or pouncing puppy. We'll keep clear communication on all your babies' habits, preferences, quirks and charms so pets and parents feel happy and secure. Details I always discuss: personality and temperament, likes/dislikes, triggers, routines, general health and medical background including current medications/supplements, how the animals are rewarded and disciplined, relevant safety and security info about the home, expectations of pet parents.
A typical day
I'm here to meet your baby's needs--taking those senior pups for a leisurely, smell-full walk down the block or for a brisk-paced jaunt to exercise those huskies and high-energy breeds! We can play treat puzzles to stimulate the mind or snuggle up for some gentle tlc. I'm happiest attending to each pet according to their individual preferences.

🐾 I have over 20 years of experience providing exemplary care to dogs, cats, exotics and aquatics. In addition to private pet-sitting, I've also worked as a kennel assistant at a canine boarding/training facility and as a veterinary assistant with The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine. At CBEAM my responsibilities included assisting with x-rays, ultrasounds, blood testing, compounding medication, post-op patient care and regular intake and treatment for critical and emergent patients, including CPR. I absolutely loved the opportunity to work with an array of animals from parrots, anacondas, bobcats, kangaroos, raptors, sugar gliders, and more! Experienced with reactive, anxious, and special needs pets, I’m confident in caring for your creatures with the love and attention they expect and deserve. A former (and future!) dog owner, my current adopted babies include two bunnies, five cats, one gecko, a striped-knee tarantula, one axolotl (pink), and one California king snake (also pink)—I’d love to meet yours! 🐾

Forest is amazing! I have had great pet sitters from Rover in the past but Forest is far and away the best ever. She clearly makes extra effort to provide the love and attention my very social kitty (Snap) likes. Forest also provides detailed updates on how Snap is eating, pooping, and anything out of the ordinary. I highly recommend her!
Do you need excellent pet care but wish for someone who will truly bond with your pet? Do you want portrait quality photos delivered to you on the regular? How about someone with a lot of pet experience and vet tech history? Forrest can do all that for you and more. They are clearly very bright and pay good attention to detail. My five pets needed extra care and assistance and their owner (me) needed a lot of reassurance. We each got what we needed and more. Additionally, my house was in such good condition when I came back from my trip you couldn’t even tell someone had been there except for the five happy, healthy fur faces ready to greet me when I came home. This happy pet owner will be rebooking with Forest if we ever need to leave town again.
Forest did a wonderful job with her visits with my cat. She provided lots of feedback and observations of a possible health issue. Thanks to Forest I came home to a very content cat after 5 days away. I highly recommend her!
