I have been around dogs in particular my whole life. I have always had multiple pet dogs growing up and currently have 4 dogs of my own. I have many years of experience in high school and college house and pet sitting for many family friends and neighbors in my community.

My approach would be to mimic your pets current schedule as best as I can and ensure they see as little disruption to their current routine as possible. With my own pets I do have experience with reactive dogs and deescalation techniques, if applicable to your pets and also on walks.

Garrett was a wonderful sitter for our Frenchie while we were out of town. He kept us updated on some injuries Buddha decided to get the day before we left (lol) and was so sweet and tender with him. Our house was meticulous when we returned, we were so grateful for his love and attention!
I cannot recommend Garrett highly enough! From the very first meet and greet, it was clear how much he genuinely loves and understands animals. My dog immediately warmed up to him, which gave me so much peace of mind. Throughout the entire stay, Garrett went above and beyond—sending regular updates, photos, and little notes that showed how happy and well cared for my pet was. I could tell my fur baby wasn’t just being looked after, but truly cared for as if they were his own. Coming home, I found a happy, relaxed dog and even a tidier house than I left (a wonderful bonus!). It’s rare to find someone so dependable, thoughtful, and kind. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Garrett on Rover, and he will absolutely be my go-to for all future pet sitting needs. Schedule
I currently work full-time remotely from my home. For house sitting, I would be able to stay and care for your pets the majority of the day and overnight. Also because of my schedule I have capacity for multiple drop in visits and walks in a day.
