They live in a nice quiet community with plenty of sidewalks and areas to walk plus they have a large fenced backyard which is a perfect setting for larger dogs. I felt like they really have a love of animals and care a great deal about the hospitality of your pet. I was given multiple updates everyday including pictures and videos of my dog eating, playing, jumping, and running. They have a dog named Jack which was great for my 2 year old golden to play with and learn to be more social around other dogs. Roger took care of our dog for a total of 10 days which was a long time, but after pickup I knew my furry friend was well taken care of. From the moment we met them during the meet & greet, I could tell how kind, genuine, and attentive they are. Daniel and his family truly love dogs and treat them like part of their own family. Daniel stays home full time, and there are usually at least two people home at all times, which gave me great peace of mind knowing our dog would never be left alone. One of their adult children has been dog sitting for years and is very experienced, and the other spent lots of time playing with our dog, which made him so happy. It’s wonderful to see how they all work together to make sure every dog gets plenty of attention and care. They kept me updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, took our dog on walks, and made sure he felt comfortable and loved while monitoring all the dogs closely. Our dog absolutely adored them and he gave everyone tons of kisses when we picked him up, which is his special way of saying “I love you.” Their own dog, Meelo, is such a sweet dog. Even though he’s blind, they’re very mindful and careful, introducing dogs slowly so everyone feels safe and at ease. I’m so relieved to have found such a kind and reliable family who will give our dog the same care and attention we do at home. We’ve already booked them again for the upcoming holiday and plan to keep returning in the future!”

We had someone set to take care of our cats for a week but a day before leaving on our trip they were admitted into the hospital and we weren’t sure for how long. I reached out to Leslie because I needed an emergency backup and thankfully she was available. We met up and went over everything the cats needed but it wasn’t until we landed in Seattle did we find out for sure that our first planned person was staying in the hospital even longer. Being thousands of miles away and having plans change like that was pretty stressful but Leslie was very understanding and professional! She stepped in and visited them twice a day, giving medicine to our kitten daily, feeding them, and hanging out and playing with them. Stormy, our kitten, loved having someone to play with while we were away and our older, usually standoffish cat Chloe even came out to see her and rubbed on her leg! She really made this potentially stressful trip into a perfectly care-free one because I knew the cats were well taken care of in her hands. About: I’ve had cats in my life since a very young age! My first cat was an outdoor cat we inherited from our neighbors when I was 3. She found her way to our house and never left. About: I have volunteered with multiple animal shelters (including fostering), a big cat sanctuary, and has worked at a veterinary clinic and pet boarding facility. I will be your pet's main caregiver, and have also owned dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, ferrets, frogs, and turtles throughout my life. My partner Marlon loves to walk/run with dogs and has had dogs, and is a chicken lover as well! I am very prepared to handle many situations and pet personalities. I recently cared for our senior dog (18-years-old!) with medical needs, and fostered puppies, so I am very understanding of dog needs. I understand how to make dogs feel safe and part of our family, and will send daily pictures to you so you know they're in good hands. **Have pets that aren't dogs?** I also own a cat, chickens, two turtles, and frogs. I volunteer at a cat rescue and have volunteered at a big cat sanctuary, have had hamsters, ferrets, an iguana, axolotls, fish.... I can handle most animals, just ask! **Notes** - Rates are per 24 hours. There will be an additional late fee of $5.00 for every hour past the agreed time for pick-up, unless you clearly communicate with us about your timeline. - Housesitting includes an overnight stay and care as needed (feeding, walks, and potty breaks) throughout the day. I may need to care for other clients or my own pets, or go into work. If you require constant care (24hrs per day, animal cannot be left alone), this needs to be arranged beforehand and the price will be higher than my regular housesitting rate. I work from home so time for pet care is flexible, I usually have plenty of time for walks or hikes with dogs that are visiting. I have a fenced yard and have the ability to make zones within my home if it's necessary. I try to stick to the typical schedule the animals are used to, to the best of my ability and schedule.

We've done everything you can imagine: dog boarding, PetSmart, friends and family but we've never had such an amazing experience with George and his lovely family. Our dogs were welcomed with such open arms while checking in with us to see how they are doing.
