Loving Pet Care Like They’re My Own
Hi there! I’m Heather, and caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. I’ve had the joy of volunteering at two different humane societies, where I worked hands-on with dogs and cats of all temperaments, ages, and needs. Through those experiences, I learned how to provide not just basic care, but real comfort and connection for animals in all situations. To deepen my understanding and provide even better care, I’ve also completed the Fear Free Shelter program for both cats and dogs. This training helps me reduce stress and anxiety in pets, making their time away from you feel safe, calm, and positive. Whether it's a walk around the block, a weekend stay, or simply keeping your pet company while you're away, I always treat them like family. I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes, and I pay close attention to individual routines and personalities.

As always Truffle had a great time with Heather and family! It was delightful seeing the photos of Truffle and Heather’s daughter having a great time together. Truffle absolutely loves them!
Heather was absolutely fabulous. I was gone for two weeks and she took excellent care of my two indoor cats. She had to coax them out, but by the end of the two weeks she had won them over. She went above and beyond to make sure to pick up a computer that was dropped off and even vacuumed before I came home. Communication was great. I got pictures and updates every day. I will absolutely use her again when I travel. I highly recommend Heather to take care of your fur babies.❤️
Heather was so good with our Luna while we were on vacation. We were constantly kept informed about how she was doing through photos, videos and updates. We'll definitely use her again the next time we are on a trip.
We only trust our Truffle with Heather. Heather is the best. Truffle is so at home with Heather and her family that we can go on our vacation without any worries. We love how Truffle was so comfortable at Heather’s - sitting on her daughter’s lap while she was doing floor exercise, sitting on Heather’s lap enjoying the sun, bothering Heather while she was making the bed. Just like at home. Heather’s home is Truffle’s home away from home! Truffle loves being at Heather’s which makes leaving her at Heather’s a very positive thing for Truffle and us!

Schedule
One of the biggest benefits I offer is my extremely flexible schedule. I work from home full-time, which means I’m around throughout the day to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. My open availability also makes it easy to accommodate last-minute bookings, special requests, and unique schedules.

I create a calm, low-stress environment with plenty of affection, playtime, and personalized attention. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions closely, and I’m happy to send photo updates so you can feel connected while you're away.

Depending on their energy level and personality, we’ll go for walks, play fetch, enjoy some tug-of-war, or just have a good cuddle and belly rub session.
