“Kristin was beyond amazing. My hubby & I boarded our pit bull Weatherly for a night with her. Our dog is reactive towards other dogs, and a pit bull, so trying to find someone to watch her that doesn't feel uneasy can be a bit hard. We did a meet & greet, and I instantly knew she was the one to take care of our dog Weatherly. Kristin is very personable, within 5min of talking with her she felt like a long time friend. She has great communication, my hubby & I got picture updates. Her & weatherly hit it off from the beginning, and Kristin was super attentive to Weatherly's needs. We love Kristin so much, we actually rebooked. Weatherly will get to hang out with Kristin for 5 days, while my family & I are on a trip. She's our go to person!! About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 25 years of experience caring for them. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from small companion dogs to German Shepherds and Huskies. I’m currently raising my third Husky, Sirus, who is an incredibly loving, playful, and friendly boy! I’m also a nursing student with a background in emergency medicine, and I have experience caring for dogs with more complex medical needs. My previous Husky had both diabetes and cancer, so I’m very familiar with administering medications, giving injections, monitoring health conditions, and providing extra attention to dogs who need it. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else can be stressful, which is why I treat every dog in my care like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pup loves playing, cuddling on the couch, or just relaxing, I want them to feel completely comfortable and loved while they’re here. I’ll also send pictures, videos, and updates throughout their stay so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy, safe, and being well taken care of! I’m currently a nursing student, so a lot of my free time is spent at home studying and hanging out with my Husky, Sirus! Since I’m already home spending time with him, welcoming another furry friend fits perfectly into our routine. I currently offer doggy daycare on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, along with overnight boarding on Friday and Saturday nights! Whether you need someone to watch your pup while you’re at work, have weekend plans, or just want your dog to enjoy a fun day with a furry friend, I’d love to help! During their stay, your pup will receive plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, and lots of love. I have grassy areas conveniently located right outside my first-floor condo, making outdoor breaks and walks easy throughout the day. I understand how important routines are for our pets, so I’m happy to follow your dog’s regular feeding, medication, and potty schedules to help them feel right at home. My goal is to make every stay feel like a fun little sleepover or playdate rather than being away from home! And of course, I’ll send pictures, videos, and updates throughout their stay so you always know how your fur baby is doing. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priorities! I want every pup who stays with me to feel like they’re right at home, receiving the same love, attention, and care that I give my own dog. I live in a cozy, first-floor condo with my neutered male Husky, Sirus. He’s incredibly loving, playful, and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all breeds and sizes! For everyone’s safety, I do require that visiting dogs be friendly, non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs, especially males. I also require a meet-and-greet before their first stay to make sure everyone is a good match. My condo has convenient access to grassy fields both in front of and behind the complex, so there are plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, fresh air, and walks throughout the day. All outdoor activities are supervised, and dogs are always kept on a leash. Inside my home, your pup is treated like family! They’re welcome to cuddle on the couch, relax on the furniture, play with toys, or simply hang out with Sirus and me. I want them to feel comfortable, loved, and secure while you’re away. As a nursing student with a background in emergency medicine, I understand the importance of safety, recognizing changes in health, and responding appropriately when something isn’t right. I also have personal experience caring for dogs with serious medical conditions, including diabetes and cancer. I’m comfortable administering medications and prescribed injections with proper instructions. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, medication routine, and care instructions closely. I’ll also provide regular pictures, videos, and updates throughout their stay so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is in loving hands. I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time so every pup receives the individual attention, supervision, and affection they deserve. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming home where your dog feels like part of our little family!
