“Andrhu was so kind and flexible. When access to the house was unavailable, at my poor planning, he was incredibly understanding and accommodating. It is more appreciated than he may know. He was very thorough as well during his drop in visits for our 2 pups.”

“Heather is a great help! She is so sweet and kind with our little goldendoodle puppy Lulu. She is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend her services.”

“I was anxious to find a dog sitter, and I wanted to make sure I found someone with a decent amount of experience. Sophia was more than happy to do a meet-and-greet with both of my dogs. She met them both where they were at, and they both had a successful first experience getting care from someone other than me or a close friend.”

About: My experience as a Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy raiser required me to safely handle dogs while exposing them to a wide variety of situations and environments, all while monitoring body language and behavior, providing consistent positive reinforcement, and building trust through clear communication. Getting the opportunity to help raise the next generation of service dogs gave me a deeper understanding of how to keep dogs safe, engaged, and happy while adapting to each one’s unique personality and drive. I take pride in my ability to notice subtle dog behaviors that indicate such things as stress or discomfort and respond appropriately to ensure a positive experience. I am currently working only part time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups and give them all of my time and energy! I also have reliable car for transportation. I am comfortable and have worked with all breeds and sizes and have had dogs and cats all my life and know what to look out for if something is wrong. I don't have any pets of my own at the moment so no worries if your pet is not good with other animals! I take the safety of the animal in my care very seriously and treat them as if they are my own!
“Mandi was the best! She took great care of my cats and was totally comfortable and willing to do insulin injections. She clearly cares a lot about animals and I felt very safe leaving mine with her!”

“Ivy was fantastic! I appreciated her patience, understanding, and consideration with Aspen. She was kind, thoughtful and careful while Aspen became comfortable with her. Scheduling and coordinating with Ivy was a breeze. She put in time and effort to make the schedule and manage everything through Rover. I'll be using Ivy in the future, without a doubt.”

“We appreciate Rose taking care of our cats while we were out of town. She was on time and made sure to lay eyes on each of them, even in their very difficult hiding spots, each visit.”

“Renee was a wonderful cat visitor! She navigated our smart locks and security system with ease, especially after she arrived the first afternoon to find that one of our cats pushed the security keypad off the counter and knocked the batteries out!! It was our first long weekend away from our two cats, who are some serious level Covid Clingers. We got daily photos and updates with every visit. Our cats looked happy and loved, and well fed; she got them to play with her more and more over the course of the weekend. We so appreciated Renee’s time and could definitely feel that she loves animals! We will definitely be hiring her again in the future! Thanks Renee!”

“Cassie was fantastic! She took wonderful care of our cats while we were away and did all the things we asked. She provided great updates and was communicative and supportive throughout the weekend! Highly recommend her!! Will be asking her to watch our cats again!”

“We couldn't be more thankful to have found Lauren and Ernest! Our 3 kitties can be a handful but they love both Lauren and Ernest and look forward to their visits while we are away. They're both very communicative, send great updates, and go above and beyond. This is our 3rd time working with them and they'll be out go to pet sitters every time we need one. Highly recommend!”
“Danielle took wonderful care of our kitten. She always arrived on time, checked carefully on our kitten’s well-being, and made a sincere effort to keep us updated throughout the day. We really appreciated her reliability and kindness!”

Anna made drop-in visits to our cats while we were away for two weeks, and what a relief it was knowing they were well taken care of! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
