For each new client, I arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to discuss further details with you. While many of the questions I ask are pet-centered, I will also ask necessary questions about your home’s security. For the comfort of your pet, I do my best to stick to whatever routine they’re used to, including outdoor vs. indoor time if applicable. I will not take your pet anywhere that we have not previously discussed. If something unexpected comes up during the stay, you will be informed or consulted as soon as possible.

I’ve worked with a very wide variety of pets, so there isn’t much I haven’t encountered yet. However, if your pet requires any special care or attention, such as being distrusting of new people or needing very rigorous care, please let me know! I’m usually available to devote all of my time to your pet, but on the small chance that I’m not I’d rather you find someone more suited as soon as possible!
A typical day
As mentioned previously, I will meet with you before the start of the booking to get all the details on your pet. If your pet is anxious and needs routine, I will do my best to adhere to what their usual day might look like. Even if your pet is more easy-going, I’ll definitely make note of what makes them happy and incorporate it into our day! No matter what, I'll give them lots of love and do my best to make them feel safe and cared for.

Pet care experience
I've used Rover both part- and full-time for several years now, so I have a lot of experience working both with this app and a wide variety of pets! I’ve walked and house sat for dogs of all sizes and a wide variety of temperaments, so I’m sure I’ll get along well with your pup. I've also worked with a wide range of other pets, including cats, snakes, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Personally, I’ve owned many pets over the years, including two cats and a dog currently. So while my professional work with pets goes back a few years, my love and care for them has been lifelong! I lived in Seattle until Summer 2024 and have lived in Tacoma since then. So I have plenty of experience with working with pets in urban areas and will always prioritize your pet's health and safety. I also have experience with caring for older pets and administering oral medication.
