Because dogs and cats are awesome!
I enjoy the company of animals so much. I would adopt all of the dogs and cats in the world if my husband would let me. That’s why I started pet sitting! I really can't have enough dogs and cats in my life. The more the merrier. I have experience working at a veterinary clinic and volunteering at PAWS animal shelter where I cared for shelter dogs and cats and bottle fed baby squirrels. I especially love senior pets and am experienced with medication administration. When I’m not hanging out with dogs and cats, I work as an occupational therapist. I started doing Rover when I was in graduate school. Since graduating my availability has changed to only offering weekend and holiday care for dogs and cats. My husband Chris often helps with daycare and boarding requests. We have two young daughters who also like to “help,” with pet sitting. When pets come to our home, we consider them part of the family. In the evenings they lounge with us on the couch and at they usually end up sleeping in bed with us.

Schedule
So many dogs and cats helped me succeed in grad school by offering their unconditional love and support. I am available for pet sitting and dog walks in the morning, evening, and sometimes at lunchtime.

A typical day
I approach each animal individually and the care that I provide depends on the personality of the pet. Some cats just want someone to sit with them. Others want cuddle and play time. Some dogs love playing fetch while others prefer slow meandering walks.
