Pet care experience

Just want to make your dog happy!

I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉)

Erin was so lovely from the start. She showed great care and love for our senior dog and provided thorough updates. We were able to enjoy our vacation with peace of mind knowing our dog had her companionship.

Erin was absolutely wonderful with Oliver while we were away! This was the first time she watched him, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly communicative, sending regular updates and photos that gave us total peace of mind. Oliver was clearly well cared for and happy. She even went above and beyond by organizing a little birthday celebration for him, which was so thoughtful and sweet. We’re so grateful for the excellent care she provided and would happily have her watch Oliver again anytime!

This was our first time leaving our pug with someone, and we could tell right away that she was at ease with Erin and her home. We can tell Erin has a loving heart for animals. She was communicative and sent us updates throughout our trip. We love that our pup enjoyed her own little vacation while we were away!

Schedule

Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs, 1 cat
Children 6-12 years old
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs not allowed on furniture

Safety, trust & environment

My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.

A typical day

I have learned a lot through my dog training schooling about brain stimulation for dogs. I have a toy box just for guests, which includes the Kong Gyro. I also love doing treat brain games and play till your dog is done. I have plenty of property to play fetch, run around with, etc.

I always like to know of any allergies (environmental and food), likes/dislikes, and if I should be concerned about anything before walking. And for dog breeds, I am open to any and all! I also like to have only one dog at a time. That doesn’t include multiple pets in one family.
