“Anna was SO helpful and went above and beyond with our two cats while we were away. We accidentally locked them in a room and she helped them get out and made sure they had water and food. She sent pictures and videos. Would recommend her :)”

About: I have experience with big dogs, medium dogs, and small dogs. I take great care in updating my clients on what’s happening with their pets. I’m working as a substitute Paraeducator so my days can be flexible depending on circumstances. I’ve stayed overnight in peoples houses looking after their pets while also staying at their place all day I always ask clients when I visit where and when pets are allowed in certain parts of the house and yard. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible.
“Timothy always goes above and beyond for us, like bringing in our packages even though we didn't ask (thank you Timothy!!). Our cat Pepper loves him very much, which is saying something because she is a very shy girl. We always feel good leaving her in Timothy's care.”

“Eric was very thorough with his visit recaps and took very good care of my dog. He always arrived at my house at our agreed time, gave her medicine and hung out with her while she ate dinner as she is sometimes an anxious lady. I will definitely use Eric's services again in the future as my doggy was in such good care with him!”

“John was fantastic with our Husky Bo. He kept me informed about everything that Bo was doing, and sent pictures and video. Bo was always happy to see John, and appeared to be having a great time on his walks. I would definitely recommend John, and I plan on requesting him to watch Bo again.”

“We are so glad that we met this dream team! They care for our doggo, are right on time, communicative and they send great pics. They’re clearly comfortable around dogs and help calm our anxious girl. Thank you Tyler and Alexis!”

“Kevin was such a great cat sitter! Falkor our cat is fairly shy, but Falkor pretty immediately felt comfortable with Kevin. Despite us having spotty service while away, Kevin still made the effort to send us plenty of updates with photos and Falkor seemed so happy! 10/10, will book Kevin again!”

“Paul, was absolutely amazing! Our cat Auggie loved him. We could have had a better sitter and we will absolutely have Paul take care of our pets in the future. I highly recommend him to anyone!”

“Amy is great! She’s super patient and great with my reactive dog. Her photos and videos make it clear my dog is comfortable and happy in her care. I feel totally at ease knowing my pup is in her hands!”

“Jeannie is wonderful! Communication was extremely fast and consistent both before and during the drop-in visits. Couldn’t have left our dog in better hands while we were away.”

“I have nothing but the best things to say about Lauryn!! She asked so many great care questions at our meet and greet and was also super flexible with my needs for visits changing a bunch while I was on vacation. I got so many sweet photos of my fur baby during their visits and I can tell she is happy and content. Would definitely book Lauryn again!!”

“We were so lucky to find Carrianne. She was super flexible but reliable, and our pets seemed to love her. The photos sent and stories relayed were always charming and entertaining. Thank you!”

About: I am trained in animal welfare by AZA accredited institution, and committed to keeping your pet safe, happy, and comfortable. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, and I am ready to help active dogs burn off energy with walks, run, and play. I am a long time pet owner and my first dog care experience came from my pet cockapoo "Felix". I base my daily and weekly routine around the wants and needs of the animals I am caring for to ensure their comfort and wellbeing. I keep pets comfortable by providing care in their own homes, following their routines exactly as instructed and communicating with owners as needed or wanted. On walks or trips to parks, I ensure safety with double checking leashes, getting to know the pets temperament, and staying cautious.

“We had to leave last minute for a family emergency and Ivana was super helpful, responsive, and easy going. She was able to accommodate a meet and greet prior to us leaving. She was understanding with schedule changes too. I would highly recommend Ivanna for your sitting needs.”

About: Hi! I’m Brian, and I’ve always loved being around animals. I’ve owned four dogs over the years, so I understand the care, patience, and attention they need to stay happy and healthy. I also used to regularly walk my dog with my former neighbors, which helped me become comfortable handling dogs on walks and around other pets. I enjoy caring for both dogs and cats and will treat your pet with the same love and respect I’d give my own. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and will follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I know every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I’d love the opportunity I currently work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but I’m available after work on weekdays and have flexible availability on weekends. I’m happy to help with evening walks, drop-in visits, overnight house sitting, and weekend pet care. I have one small Mexican Hairless Dog (Xoloitzcuintli) who is friendly and well cared for. My home also has a decent, fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get some fresh air while always being supervised.
About: I started volunteering in an animal shelter when I was 16 years old. I worked in a veterinary hospital for 18 years off and on then moved on to working for and then owning my own pet sitting/dog walking company. I have done that for the last 16 years. I now work full time from home with a flexible schedule. I am comfortable administering medication, fluid treatments, and injections. (Additional cost) I was raised with chihuahuas to bullmastiffs, so size is not a factor I require all families to be open to my 16 year old daughter tagging along, if necessary. I also have resident cats and dogs so I ask your pets be pet friendly if you are inquiring about boarding in my home. I live on a lake for those babes who love to swim. I also have a fully fenced yard. Look forward to talking with you and taking care of your fur babies and home. I’m home most of the day so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I arrange my schedule to match your typical schedule so pets can stay with their routine I will follow all rules for leashing and animal security. I will not walk dog off leash under any circumstances. I also will not participate in dog parks. I prefer cats/dogs that come indoors during the night.

I had a great experience with John dropping by each day to hang out with my cat, Spaghetti. He was extremely flexible and communicative with me while my travel plans changed more than once due to forest fires, which was really helpful during a stressful time! I got tons of pictures and videos, and Spaghetti was clearly very well cared for! I'll definitely be booking John again in the future!

Wonderful sitter, would book again in a heartbeat! Communicative from the start — checked in ahead of time to confirm details, and sent sweet updates after visits letting us know everyone was happy, walked, fed, and loved on. When our booking got a little mixed up on our end, they were patient and easy to work with, confirming every change so we always knew what was happening. Always reliable, caring, and easy to communicate with.

I can’t say enough good things about Jeannie. We hate leaving our cat and Jeannie gave us so much peace of mind! She is prompt with communication, she’s punctual with her visit times, she gives updates after the visit and she seems to genuinely love caring for animals. She also has a great personality. During her visits with our cat, she did all the things she loves. She took the time to do all the things she loves. She really does go above and beyond. Thank you so much Jeannie!! So grateful for you and we highly recommend to others.

Harley was fantastic! She asked all the right questions during our meet-and-greet, and even our shy cat seemed to warm up to her quickly. She arrived on time every morning, which our cats definitely appreciated, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We’ll definitely be booking with Harley again the next time we leave town!

Liz was an incredible help with my cat Monty! Liz bonded with Monty very quickly. Liz also gave detailed updates, was prompt, and took care of everything that I asked. Monty was well cared for and I received several cute pictures each visit so that I could see how he was doing, which was reassuring. I highly recommend and will rebook Liz next time I leave town!

We had to leave last minute for a family emergency and Ivana was super helpful, responsive, and easy going. She was able to accommodate a meet and greet prior to us leaving. She was understanding with schedule changes too. I would highly recommend Ivanna for your sitting needs.

Timothy always goes above and beyond for us, like bringing in our packages even though we didn't ask (thank you Timothy!!). Our cat Pepper loves him very much, which is saying something because she is a very shy girl. We always feel good leaving her in Timothy's care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Seahurst. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
