I am a long time pet owner and my first dog care experience came from my pet cockapoo "Felix". I base my daily and weekly routine around the wants and needs of the animals I am caring for to ensure their comfort and wellbeing. About: Hi! My name’s Martini or Rouge, I just moved back to the Seattle area after years in Georgia, and am in search of part time work. I have experience pet sitting for cats and dogs, as well as experience with pet ownership, including reptiles such as beardies and geckos. About: I have lived with dogs before and done some pet sitting for family. I understand the basic needs, and how quirky some doggos can get. Cleaning litter boxes every day, check water, and I try to carefully feed the cats so everyone gets a chance to eat and the one cat doesn't eat too much. When dog walking I try to be brisk and use my body and pace to keep the focus on the walk and not other dogs. I do like to see what the doggos sniff at. With the cats I live with I have a specific method for feeding them to make sure they all get to eat, I'm used to having to clean up puke and hairballs. Some pets are quirky and need to be treated a certain way.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a small kid! I believe pets deserve all the love, and I understand and am able to work with reactive dogs as well. I do work full time remotely! But I use all my breaks to walk and play with my dogs. I am almost always home, and visit the dog part frequently I treat my pets, and all pets with love and respect. I always make sure that they are able to go potty when they need to, get fed consistently, and have plenty toys and treats.

Tyler and Alexis are by far my favorite pet sitters! Tyler went above and beyond taking care of my elderly cat Jazzy. He sent many pictures of her and details of what he did to make sure that she got all of her meds, was kept clean, happy and even played with her-all while keeping her litter boxes clean and followed my detailed instructions. Ana took incredible care of our girls on short notice! She made sure everything was taken care of and took the time to play and love on them while we were gone. They really seemed to warm up to her quickly and enjoy being around her. She even stayed long one day after one of the girls ate a small piece of string during play time to make sure she was ok. We couldn’t have hoped for someone better!
Jeannie goes above and beyond. I can’t say that enough. She took such good care of our kitty!! She’s played games with her and gave her so much love and attention. She also did extra things while we were away, even asked if she could take the trash out for us on trash day! She’l thinks of everything and is so thoughtful! It didn’t take long for our cat to warm up to her and we feel so much better about leaving knowing our cat is under the care of Jeannie. Thank you Jeannie!!!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
