Love and Care for 4-legged Friends!
I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. It first started with our family cat who I primarily fed, trimmed nails, played with and then our family Shetland sheepdog at age 11. I’ve had plenty of experience with walking, bathing, even training dogs on command and working on household behaviors. I’ve also taken care of senior dogs and have administered a variety of medications. I currently have a 3-yr old husky mix girl pup. I’ve crate trained her, somewhat good on leash (a bit reactive when other dogs pass by closely), and has good recall. I value the quality a pet has and would make sure they feel as comfortable, safe, and happy as possible, treating them as my own.

Maria was great with Hobbes! My only thought is that she has quite a busy life and other commitments, which worked out okay for us because Hobbes is pretty flexible on timing, but could be hard with a very regimented cat!
Maria was great with my cats! Even my shy kitty loved spending time with her while I was away. She was very communicative and did a wonderful job.

Schedule
I currently work from home twice during the week (flexible and can pick the days each week) and also available most weekends and evenings to take care of your furry family member!

I live in a very dog-friendly area in Des Moines! I ensure at least 2-3 long waks a day, and enrichment like toys and training as well to keep your pup happy and busy!

A typical day
I would love to take your dog on 2-3 walks a day, as my neighborhood is very dog friendly. If your dog would also like a buddy, my 3 year old husky mix is really sweet and playful, and has been trained to behave well with all dogs brought around her, whether it be just tolerating or actually playing with them.
