My name is Jojo! Im from Miami but moved to Washington in 2019! I was fortunate enough to go to a school where I dealt with a variety of animals such as: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, cattle, lambs, goats, etc. I’ve obtained a Veterinary Assistant certificate and plan on continuing my studies. Over the years I have grown an immense love for animals and taking care of them. I am reliable, trustworthy, responsible, empathetic and patient with my animals. I understand that people have busy schedules and sometimes are not able to give their pet the attention they want to. I love helping people in need and pet sitting is the most enjoyable job for me. I find pet sitting to be very therapeutic. A good pet sitter recognizes the needs of your pet and responds to them. I pay attention to details so I know when your pet would like to be left alone and given space. I handle pets affectionately and never use physical punishment or force.

She was great, I know lua can be a handful but she had nothing but great things to say about our lovely lua. Lua came back happy and well.

joanna did an amazing job with my pup riley! it was our first time dog sitting using rover and joanna was very reassuring and sent updates almost daily. i could tell that riley was very well taken care of throughout the week i was gone! :)

Joanna was amazing! This is my first time using Rover and she was so warm and welcoming! She shared a daily picture or video of Willow which was incredible while I was away. Willow came back happy and loving her new friend! Will be scheduling with again!
Superb in watching my boy for the weekend fairly last minute. She followed all instructions to the T! He seemed very comfortable and integrated well. Happy to see such incredible care for a member of our family.

I create a safe, loving environment by following each pet’s routine. This includes feeding on schedule, keeping water fresh, cleaning litter boxes or yards, providing exercise, playtime, cuddles, and any needed medications.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and happy with fun activities like walks, fetch, and puzzle toys. For indoor pets, I add playtime, cuddles, and engagement.
